2024: Launch of a factory to make robots for making fast food. ₽0,5 billion invested in it
RoboLabs has opened a new plant in Tver for the production of automated equipment for catering and trade enterprises. The launch of production with investments of ₽0,5 billion became known on November 20, 2024.
According to TASS, the production site with a size of more than 6.5 thousand square meters is designed to produce 700 pieces of equipment every month. The planned annual production volume will reach 10 thousand units of equipment with the prospect of further expansion.
At the opening of the plant, an automated line of a new generation was presented for the production of popcorn with a capacity of 500 kg of products per hour, which is equivalent to 50 million servings per year. Also demonstrated are a robot pizza developed in conjunction with Dodo Pizza, and the first Russian robot for frying potatoes.
The company has created 200 jobs for specialists of various profiles and plans to expand the staff due to the growing demand for products. The company already exports equipment to more than 50 countries, including the markets of Latin America, the Middle East, Turkey, Indonesia and Vietnam.
