Dmitry Kapishnikov, "KUKA Russia": The market of industrial robotics in Russia expects active growth
Photos of deserted productions where along pipeline lines robotic manipulators stand ranks make a great impression on ordinary people. However deserted production is only one of options of use of industrial robots. Dmitry Kapishnikov, the CEO "KUKA Russia", told TAdviser where in Russia industrial robots work and that constrains their mass arrival on manufacturing enterprises. |
the Industry robotics grows every year. The world sector of the corresponding developments makes more than $100 billion already today. In 2019 the group "Lanit" signed the partnership agreement with global manufacturer robots Ubtech Robotics at St. Petersburg an economic forum. Later, within East economic forum, the parties signed the contract for distribution robots. In an interview TAdviser the director of strategic projects Sergey Litvinov told Lanit why IT- the company decided to cooperate with this producer and as the Chinese robots will move ahead in Russian the market. |
In the world use of collaborative robots on production gains popularity. What machines are about the widespread and unusual fields of their application and also about the attitude of customers towards them in Russia TAdviser was told by Katerina Slanska, the marketing manager of Universal Robots company in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS. |
The analytical center TAdviser together with the National Association of Participants of the Market of Robotics (NAPMR) prepared the list of 30 largest Russian integrators of industrial robots and defined the leader of this market.
During preparation of Top-30 data from 55 integrators were obtained. Market participants were estimated by two main criteria - revenue and the number of the installed robots. For inclusion in number of the largest, revenue of the company from integration of industrial robots for 2016-2018 had to exceed 100 million rubles, and the number of the installed robots for the same period had to be more than 10. Presence at integrator of the manufacturer's certificate of origin of robots was also compulsory provision.
As a result of consideration of indicators of the companies all of them were distributed on three parts. 16 integrators which answered immediately to two criteria got to the first part. The second part brought together 14 integrators which indicators met at least one criterion. The additional third list included the remained companies which did not overcome the sounded threshold.
In each list of the company were sorted in alphabetical order without specific indicators of activity. Such decision was made after discussion of preliminary rating with market participants to minimize influence of possible inaccuracies in revenue indicators. At the same time the unambiguous market leader - Vektor Group was defined. During 2016-2018 this company installed 97 robots for the total amount of 785 million rubles Read more here.

The production line of the aluminum fuel tanks created on "KAMAZ" will reduce dependence of the enterprise on import component parts, will reduce risks of untimely deliveries and also will allow to achieve significant financial economy. Start of the new line took place at the end of June, 2019. Within the KAMAZ project began release of the fuel tanks with an amount from 200 to 800 liters. Power of new production is 35 thousand tanks a year. The KUKA company having exclusive competences in lines of production of the aluminum fuel tanks acted as the partner of "KAMAZ". Learn more... |
The robotic complex for assembly and soldering of electronic components raised performance of section of radio-electronic production of NPO Starlayn (StarLine) by 10 times. There was an opportunity to release products continuously 24/7. |
The Unilever company completely automated two production lines in Katowice where now six UR10 robots carry out the tasks connected with packaging of tea. Before implementation of the automation equipment all these tasks were executed by the person. Operators spent about 70% of time for packaging and 30% for palletizing. Thanks to the fact that process of palletizing was completely automated using kobot operators were exempted from accomplishment of 30% of tasks. Kobota carry out the most tiresome tasks and also differ in high productivity, stacking on pallets about 1100 boxes during an eight-hour working shift. In the course of palletizing of UR10 places each box on a pallet according to the preset template. Learn more... |
Analytical center TAdviser together with NAURR prepared the first Card of the Russian market of industrial robotics. About 170 companies presented at the Russian market are marked on the map. These are producers of robotic components and a specialized software, domestic and foreign manufacturers of industrial robots and also integrators of robotic complexes.
The new card is the first attempt of TAdviser and NAURR to show the domestic market of industrial robotics in an infografichesky form. Authors of the map outlined the main segments of the market and grouped the companies in relation to them.
During implementation of robots in production domestic integrators use a number of technologies – image processing, orientation in space, cloud computing and so forth. For example, the Abagy Robotic Systems company, creates a system which can program the robot based on drawings and external secsorics – without participation of the person. The Slam system of navigation of the mobile KUKA robots used to Skolkovo allows the robot to be guided independently in space and "see" the changes happening around. The relevant direction of technological development is interaction with elements of the Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT)
Let's consider in more detail several technology directions in development of industrial robotics about which experts at the end of 2019 spoke:
- More and more active use of technologies of machine vision
- Demand of technologies of adaptive control by the robot
- Safety of joint work of the person and robot
- Integration of industrial robots into other solutions
- Security of industrial robots
- Use of machine learning technologies
- Application of an open program code for expansion of target audience
- Development of controllers of industrial robots
UR16e is the senior model of the kobot from the e-Series family from Universal Robots having the payload of 16 kg. The device combines high loading capacity with a range of 900 mm and provides recurrence in +/-0.05 mm. All this allows a kobot to automate such tasks as manipulation of heavy loads, loading of heavy parts and service of machines. The new model is created according to requirements of producers. Its start considerably increases universality of a line of kobot of UR and gives to producers even more opportunities for increase in efficiency and also helps to solve the problems connected with labor resources and business development. Huge work on creation of the plants of the future is around the world conducted. Production of the future provides intellectual, connected processes of industrial production and transportation on the basis of cyberphysical production systems (CPPS). In other words, such plants, using the advanced methods of interaction, independently and intellectually react to the changing tasks. The plant of tomorrow needs to organize and to continuously optimize the production processes. It will allow to counteract negative effects of one more process: demographic changes. Because of falling of birth rate and aging of the population of modern industrial societies essentially new solutions are necessary. Without "the smart plants" it is just impossible to reach required increase in productivity and also to effectively use the available natural resources. Learn more... |
