Cherdyn Museum of Local Lore named after Pushkin

The A.S. Pushkin Museum of Local Lore, located in the city of Cherdyn, Perm Territory, was founded in 1899 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the poet. As of May 2023, the museum has 146,270 items of storage. In December 2021, the museum became regional property. Now it is the State Regional Budgetary Cultural Institution "Cherdynsky Museum of Local Lore named after A.S. Pushkin," founder - Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory. The museum complex includes five buildings: the building of the Museum of Local Lore (CHUZU, 1850s), the exhibition hall (Women's Gymnasium, 1888), the Museum of the History of Faith (Assumption Church, 1757-1785), the museum space at 58 Yurganovskaya St. (Male Parish School, 1888) and the center of memory of M.N. Romanov (Bogadnya, 1913-1915), together with the Romanovsky Garden in the village of Nyrob. All of them are architectural monuments of regional significance, objects of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.
