Ministry of Culture of Perm Territory

The Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory is one of the executive bodies of state power of the Perm Territory. The ministry is engaged in the formation of regional policy and legal regulation in the field of culture and art. Tasks of the Ministry of Culture:

• formation of a positive image of the Perm Territory;
• Ensuring the access of the population of the Perm Territory to works of art and amateur art.

History

2016: Renaming to the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory

In accordance with the decree of the Governor of the Perm Territory of December 29, 2015 No. 183 "On renaming the Ministry of Culture, youth policy and mass communications of the Perm Territory and on amending the decree of the Governor of the Perm Territory dated June 22, 2012 No. 41 "On approval of the structure of the executive bodies of state power of the Perm Territory and the composition of the Government of the Perm Territory," Decree of the Government of the Perm Territory of April 11, 2016 No. 211-p "On the transfer of functions in the field of youth policy and amendments to certain resolutions of the Government of the Perm Territory" Ministry of Culture, youth policy and mass communications of the Perm Territory renamed the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Territory.

2009: Renamed the Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Communications of the Perm Territory

In June 2009, the Ministry was renamed the Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Media of the Perm Territory (Decree of the Government of the Perm Territory of 10.06.2009 No. 349-p).

2007: Establishment of the Ministry

In January 2007, the Department of Culture and Art and the Committee on Youth Policy were merged into the Ministry of Culture and Youth Policy of the Perm Territory, from December 2007 this ministry was transformed into the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications.
