2024: Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin allocated 300 million rubles for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of ₽300 million for the purchase of medical equipment for the Children's Regional Clinical Hospital named after A.K. Piotrovich in Khabarovsk. The corresponding document was signed on October 19, 2024.
According to the Russian government, according to the order, funding will be carried out from the reserve fund of the Russian government. The funds will allow you to purchase about 50 units of various equipment, including a spiral computer tomograph, a magnetic resonance tomograph, endosurgical video complexes, X-ray navigation systems and anesthesiological and resuscitation equipment.
This decision is part of the work on the execution of Mikhail Mishustin's instructions, which he gave following a working trip to the Far Eastern and Siberian federal districts in July 2024. During his visit to Khabarovsk, the Prime Minister visited the A.K. Piotrovich Children's Regional Clinical Hospital and during his communication with the staff of the medical institution promised to consider the issue of retrofitting the hospital.
The medical institution provides assistance to children from all over the Far Eastern Federal District. Earlier, hospital staff reported the need to update the spiral computed tomograph, re-equip the resuscitation and operating units, as well as purchase new endosurgical equipment.
The Ministry of Health of Russia was instructed to conclude an agreement with the government of the Khabarovsk Territory on the provision of a subsidy no later than 30 calendar days after the issuance of the order. The agency should also monitor the targeted and effective use of the allocated funds and submit a corresponding report to the government of the Russian Federation by April 1, 2025. The order provides that all purchased equipment should be commissioned in 2024.[1]
