The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory is the executive authority of the Khabarovsk Territory, exercising the powers assigned by regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation and the Territory to the competence of the executive authorities of the Territory in the following areas:
- development of the information society and the formation of e-government in the region, digital development of the region;
- improving the quality of the state management system, the ultimate effectiveness and efficiency of the execution of the functions and powers of the executive authorities of the region by ensuring the implementation of priority areas of administrative reform;
- centralized planning, creation and effective use of information and communication technologies in the activities of the executive authorities of the region and the enterprises and institutions subordinate to them;
- protection of information from unauthorized access and leakage through technical channels;
- assistance to business entities operating in the field of information technology, telecommunications, postal communications, television and radio broadcasting in the territory of the region, as part of the expansion of the sphere of services provided to citizens and legal entities;
- organization of the activities of multifunctional centers for the provision of state and municipal services.
The Ministry is the successor of the Committee on Information Technology and Communications of the Government of the Territory.
History
2024: Appointment of Yevgeny Demin as the new head of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory
In August 2024, Yevgeny Demin was appointed head of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory instead of Alexei Gusev, who wrote an application for dismissal of his own free will. Read more here.
2021: Renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory
In accordance with the Decree of the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory dated September 29, 2021 No. 95 "On the Structure of Executive Bodies of the Khabarovsk Territory"[1], Decree of the Government[1] of the Khabarovsk Territory dated February 24, 2022[2] to [2] of[2] No. 182-pr "On Approval[3] of Information Technologies[3]." In the name, the words "information technology" are replaced by the words "digital development."
