2019: Abolition of the Ministry of Territorial Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory
By Decree of the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory of May 20, 2019 No. 194, the Ministry of Territorial Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory was abolished, the powers and functions of the Ministry of Territorial Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory in the field of information, information technology and information protection were transferred to the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, power, Digitalization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory[1].
2016: Abolition of the Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory
By the Decree of the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory dated October 6, 2016 No. 395, the Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory was abolished. Powers and functions of the Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory for sectoral or intersectoral management in the field of communications, information, information technologies and information protection in the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory, including the functions of monitoring the implementation of work on the technical protection of information in the executive bodies of state power of the Trans-Baikal Territory were transferred to the Ministry of Territorial Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory[2].
2014: Activities of the Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory
The Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory was the executive body of state power of the Trans-Baikal Territory, which carried out sectoral or intersectoral management in the field of communications, information, information technology and information protection in the territory of the region, including the functions of monitoring the implementation of work on technical protection of information in the executive bodies of state power of the region (Regulation on the Department of Informatization and Communications of the Trans-Baikal Territory, approved by Decree of the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory dated May 16, 2014 No. 265[3]).
