Fortlayn is the company which conducts distance measurements of audience of satellite television, researches of popularity of TV channels of satellite broadcasting and separately studies a HD TV viewing segment.

Since 2014 Fortlayn develops own piplmetrovy panel conforming to the international standards Global Guidelines for Television Audience Measurements (GGTAM). It is the tool measuring audience of the largest Russian operator of digital television of Tricolor TV whose subscriber base contains 12 million households, or 40 million TV viewers.

The Piplmetrovy panel of development of Fortlayn opens new opportunities of telemetry and provides the broad and objective picture of the market of TV advertizing. A system allows to obtain data on HD TV viewing.

The system of distance measurements of Fortlayn company is created based on the Russian technologies from the domestic developer, the producer and the supplier of complete solutions for digital television of GS Group. Set-top boxes under the self-produced General Satellite brand GS Group with a possibility of a piplmetriya are installed on all coverage of Tricolor TV in the European and Siberian part of Russia. The measuring panel covers 4 thousand subscribers, and its opportunities constantly extend. Installation researches on 30 thousand respondents are annually conducted. It confirms correctness of data retrieveds on the basis of which it is possible to calculate the ratings of programs and advertizing blocks and also to wage effective advertizing campaigns. By the end of 2016 the volume of selection of HD audience will be increased, the panel will pass the independent media examination.
