2022: Tricolor bought 10 channels of the Digital Television Family from Channel One

As it became known in early June 2022, the UltraRu company associated with Tricolor bought 10 channels of the Digital Television Family from Channel One. Financial and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The press service of Tricolor only told RBC that it was concluded "on market conditions."

By the beginning of June 2022, "Digital Television Family" has 10 channels, including "Time," "Music of the First," "O!," "Beaver" and "House of Cinema," which is the most popular in the line and specializes in showing domestic films. According to Mediascope, in January - April 2022, he took 18th place among all viewers over 4 years old in the top 30 federal channels. The average daily share of the "House of Cinema" in the first four months was 1.1%. At the same time, for other projects of the "digital family," the average daily share does not exceed 1%.

The head of the information and analytical agency TelecomDailyDenis Kuskov, in a conversation with RBC, drew attention to the fact that the TV channels included in the deal are aimed at a regional audience that lacks entertainment content.
