MapAnything — the American software maker which allows to create the interactive maps used for sales of products and services. For example, sales departments can mark on such maps of the area with high and low priorities, and transport companies can use software for visualization of geographical location of cars and job sharing when drivers leave a certain zone in the city. Also MapAnything offers API for calculation of the shortest distances and the fastest options of movement from one point in another.

By April, 2019 MapAnything has about 1900 clients among whom — Michelin, Unilever, Synchrony Financial and Mohawk Industries company.

History

2019: Salesforce purchased MapAnything

On April 17, 2019 Salesforce.com announced MapAnything acquisition, but did not begin to open a financial component of the agreement.

This transaction was preceded by cooperation of the companies which lasted about 7 years. MapAnything was one of the first applications placed on the platform Salesforce AppExchange (it happened in 2012). Besides, MapAnything was a partner of Salesforce of SI and had the status ISV Premier Partner.

In Salesforce hope that due to merger of MapAnything it will be possible to expand possibilities of the products Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud thanks to what in the market there will be "smart" location-based solutions which will improve the organization of sales on places and will increase productivity of service personnel.[1]
