General Director of Mastertel Holding Vitaly Ezopov found dead in his apartment

The general director of the Mastertel holding Vitaly Yezopov was found dead in his apartment, Telegram channels Baza and Mash reported on August 7, 2024. Read more here.

Mastertel founder Vitaly Yezopov accused his ex-deputy of trying to raider seizure of the company

The founder of the holding and general director of Mastertel JSC Vitaly Yezopov said on June 24 that a raider seizure of Mastertel holding, including Mastertel JSC, Marathon JSC, MT Telecom LLC, Cloud for Business LLC, Russian Clouds LLC, 3Data LLC, DC 3Data LLC, and attempts are being made to liquidate the oldest and leading company Mastertel Holding - Mastertao. According to Ezopov, a business partner and former first deputy general director Mikhail Belov are behind the seizure.

{{quote 'Mikhail Belov, fearing an audit, and opposing qualitative changes in the holding, entered into a conspiracy with the heads of functional companies in IT, personnel and accounting support, seized Vitaly Yezopov's shares in MT Telecom LLC, the operator of the network data centers of the premium service level of DC 3Data LLC; cloud provider LLC "Russian Clouds"; publishing house of Digital Ocean magazine - Prime Business Cinema LLC; JSC NetUan Rus; RussiaDiscovery, the largest adventure tourism company in Russia, said in a press release issued on behalf of Vitaly Yezopov.

This group of persons, manipulating the labor collective, is trying to paralyze the activities of Mastertel JSC: blocked the operation of the corporate information system, mail, closed access to any documents, the system of personnel workflow, document management, tax and financial planning, sent false messages to the company's clients about changing the postal address and business restructuring, and for this fictitious reason renegotiated service contracts for groups or one-day companies controlled by them (including Pegasus Nat LLC) (actually steals customers and profits of Mastertel JSC)...

Today, Mikhail Belov and his accomplices blackmail the founder of the holding Vitaly Ezopov with the continuation of illegal actions, as well as bringing Mastertel JSC to bankruptcy, in order to seize full control, shares and shares of Ezopov in a number of companies.}}

Mastertel was going to go public, for which it was supposed to reorganize and consolidate the holding's business units, as well as organize an asset audit. The preparation of an IPO requires serious procedural work, the introduction of civilized corporate governance, the presence of independent directors, as well as the refusal of shareholders from participation in operational management, which is a colossal minus for any investor. Another important aspect was to be the departure from the obsolete approach of business fragmentation, entailing tax, legal and reputational risks. And thirdly, this is the obligatory work of an external, independent auditor, selected on a competitive basis. It is possible that it was precisely the desire for greater business transparency and the introduction of external audit that caused Mikhail Belov's group to try to seize the Holding.

It should be noted that telecom operators are classified as critical information infrastructure, and the seizure or destruction of one of the major operators in Moscow and the Moscow region can seriously affect the availability of information resources. In particular, the Holding companies own more than 15 thousand km. fiber optic cables and more than 20 data centers. Together, companies serve about 10 thousand customers - telecom operators, government and financial institutions, industrial enterprises and thousands of other organizations. According to Vitaly Yezopov, already now the raider group has reduced the protection of all these resources from DDoS, which makes the holding's clients defenseless against attacks by Ukrainian hacker groups and exposes computer information protected by law to the threat of illegal access.

Vitaly Yezopov said that he appealed to the FSB of the Russian Federation, MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow Region with a request to give an appropriate assessment of the actions of his former partner that harm the state. Unfortunately, the TAdviser editorial office failed to get comments from Mikhail Belov's group, but the editorial office is ready to publish the position of the other party to the conflict.

2016: Development of our own network

On October 4, 2016, Mastertel announced the final of the first stage of the project aimed at increasing the capacity of its own infrastructure network.

As a result of the completion of the first of several planned phases of the project, focused on increasing the speed of information transfer while maintaining the maximum stability and reliability of information flows, it was the completion of construction and commissioning of the DWDM network. The maximum bandwidth of communication channels has reached 400 Gbps.

DWDM networks were put into operation in the form of a ring of five nodes in large data centers in Moscow. 400 Gb/s ring throughput

Until the end of the year, we will continue to carry out large-scale work to increase and expand the network capacity, which will positively affect the quality of services provided for all customers. The implementation of the project to enhance our network is an adequate response to the growing requirements of the market to provide increasing information transfer rates, stability of information flows, as well as the reliability of data transmission networks in general.

2015: "Mastertel" and "Russian Towers" in the same project

On November 13, 2015, Mastertel and the Russian Towers group announced the start of a joint project to build optical lines to dual-use supports in Moscow. The goal of the project is to improve the quality of communication in 4G and 4G + networks.

According to the partners' plans, the use of optical channels will allow telecom operators to receive a full set of equipment placement and transmission services, which will help to quickly and efficiently deploy 4G networks. In comparison with the classic approach (construction of its own infrastructure), by placing equipment on the supports of the Russian Towers, operators can get savings of up to 30%.

"Cooperation with Mastertel allows us to expand the range of infrastructure sharing offered to operators and form the full range of services necessary to accommodate the base station at our sites - a place for accommodation, power supply, tele-monitoring and, now, fiber-optic connection to the transport network, - said Alexander Chub, President of the Russian Towers Group of Companies. "The organization of LTE networks requires high quality communication channels, and Russian Towers are ready to provide operators with all the necessary infrastructure support
."
"Now the telecommunications business in Russia is going through a difficult stage. At the same time, the crisis often provides new opportunities, and the sharing of infrastructure with the Russian Towers company is one of them. We are confident that cooperation with Russian Towers will find a successful continuation in the future, "said Vitaly Ezopov, General Director of Mastertel.

As of November 11, 2015, 40 optical lines were built in all districts of Moscow for test purposes. "Russian Towers" and "Mastertel" plan to additionally equip all supports of "Russian Towers" with optical lines by the end of 2016, bringing their number to 1 thousand.

2014

On February 17, 2014, Mastertel announced the connection to the international traffic exchange point DE-CIX in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).

As a result of joining [1] Mastertel Internet traffic routes in the international segment will be optimized, which will positively affect the quality of IP traffic and guarantee customers high-speed and redundant access to popular foreign Internet resources.

2013

Mastertel is a modern telecom operator that is part of the Prime Business Group holding. For more than 10 years Mastertel has been providing a range of telecommunications services in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Leningrad regions, specializing in working with companies and corporations.

According to information as of December 2013, Mastertel serves more than 700 commercial real estate objects and owns more than 7,000 km of optical communication lines. We constantly implement innovative solutions and technologies, striving to improve the quality and range of services provided, as well as customer service processes. The result of this work is the trust of more than five thousand corporate clients.

The fiber optic network of Master Connect is one of the largest urban optical networks in Europe. The capacity of optical highways is 264 fibers, the average network availability in Moscow is 350 meters.

Mastertel has a dedicated resource of telephone numbers in the ABC codes - 495 and 499. The Mastertel communication network is built on the basis of fiber-optic lines using SDH, Gigabit Ethernet and PON technologies, covers areas with the highest concentration of client offices, to ensure maximum throughput and uninterrupted operation of corporate networks of customers (data as of December 2013).

2012

As of February 2012, Mastertel's clients were about two thousand companies, including state organizations, banks, shopping and business centers, and media holdings.

Increase of cable capacity in the StackTelecom data center

Mastertel announced in June 2012 the commissioning and switching of a new cable in the StekTelecom data center at 125 Varshavskoye Shosse. As a result of the input, the cable capacity increased from 72 to 264 fibers. For reliable and efficient operation of the data center, all the necessary measures for its technical operation were developed. During the implementation of these works, the couplings were replaced, which, in turn, significantly increased the potential of the data center.

In order to reduce the response time in emergency situations, to troubleshoot problems, as well as to determine the possibility of redundancy of various sections of the transport network, Mastertel has created a more advanced fiber switching accounting system based on existing automated systems. Work is underway to build backup cables to large data centers - on the street. Borovaya, d. 7 and Korovinskoye shosse, d. 41 of the Date Line company, as well as the creation of an intermediate switching node at Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya d.11.

Aktivs

As of February 2012, the company's network consisted of hundreds of nodes in Moscow and the Moscow Region, the most important of which are located at the central connected facilities of the city (MMTS-9, MMTS-10, MMTS-5, CSS MPS, RTI Mints and others). As a central switch, modern Nokia DX-200 carrier-class equipment was used, allowing up to 40,000 subscribers or more to be served. In addition, switching equipment manufactured by Ericsson, Marconi, NEC and IskraTel was used.

2011

Mastertel completes the "Master Connect" dark fiber network upgrade. Investments in the network reform process will allow the operator to lower fiber rental prices, increase fault tolerance, reduce project implementation times, expand the range of services, and use almost any number of fibers when connecting. "Innovations in telecommunications services are the most effective way to unify the service, which means to offer it to a wider number of customers," explains Vitaly, General Director of Mastertel CJSC. - In general, innovation is the most important direction of development for our company, without them the future is impossible. We try to anticipate the long-term needs of our customers in order to solve any problems with ease. "

The result of the upgrade was a new backbone network based on large capacity cables. The connections of the construction cable lengths are made on the basis of new universal couplings, which allow welding of fibers in accordance with the necessary configuration, providing the entry of up to 16 cables and placed in their own telephone wells. Underground optical crosses are installed at the intersection of large-capacity main lines. They make possible any switching between highways, thus increasing the number of fiber lease options. Switching units are created on the basis of adapted rented premises, into which a large number of trunk cables are connected. The last miles from the trunk cables are built taking into account the possibility of getting from one point to different highways. These changes took into account the current needs of customers: they remove restrictions on the use of "dark" fibers, increase the fault tolerance of the assembled networks and make it possible to assemble any track in a fairly short time. "We are trying to develop a universal designer that allows you to create networks of any configuration," comments Vitaly Yazopov - suitable for the needs of small operators, and for expanding existing networks of market leaders, and for point-to-point connections both between large date centers, and simply for connecting several addresses in different parts of the city of Moscow. To implement this strategy, the length of the Master-Connect network is increasing every month, today its length is 4,500 km. "

In September 2011, the completion of the transformation of the MPLS network in 2011 was announced. During the project, a number of telecom operator initiatives were implemented to improve the quality and reliability of the services provided in any, even the most critical, situations. The main supplier for MetroEthernet networks and the switching node<Мастертел> is Huawei Technologies. One of the stages of long-term cooperation<Мастертел> and Huawei was the<Мастертел> introduction of a transit super node. Now in the core of the network are two topologically equivalent super-nodes, with the help of which full redundancy is achieved, and the risk of failures is minimized. Transit supernodes geographically distribute the load to different addresses, which allows you to choose different routes for the supply of information.
