Appointment of Nairi Vardanyan as head

Medical institutions at once received 4 thousand units of medical equipment for ₽1,6 billion
Medical institutions Rostov region received new medical equipment worth ₽1,6 billion as part of a regional modernization program. health care In total, more than 4 thousand pieces of equipment were purchased, the regional government said in July 2025.
According to Kommersant, almost 3.9 thousand units of equipment were delivered and put into operation, which is 96.4% of the total volume of purchases. Another 142 pieces of equipment or 3.6% of the planned quantity are under delivery.
The equipment takes place in accordance with the plan of the regional program for the modernization of health care for 2025, focused primarily on the provision of primary health care. The program is aimed at improving the quality of medical services in the region.
The Minister of Health of the Rostov Region Yuri Kobzev said that hospitals, clinics, maternity hospitals and other medical institutions of various cities and districts received new equipment. Among the recipients are medical institutions of Bataysk, Zverevo, Novocherkassk, Rostov-on-Don, Volgodonsk, Taganrog and Shakht.
The district hospitals of Azovsky, Bagaevsky, Bokovsky, Veselovsky, Dubovsky, Yegorlyksky, Zimovnikovsky, Kagalnitsky, Krasnosulinsky, Kuibyshevsky and another 14 districts of the region also became recipients of new equipment.
Devices for mammography and fluorography with a total cost of ₽26,3 million were supplied to the Central City Hospital of Azov. The Central City Hospital Gukovo received an apparatus for fluorography worth ₽10,5 million. A stationary X-ray machine worth ₽22,8 million was installed in the city polyclinic No. 3 of Volgodonsk.
A digital mammograph worth ₽16,1 million has appeared in the Central Regional Hospital of the Kuibyshevsky District. The supplied equipment will improve the diagnostic capabilities of medical institutions in the region and improve the quality of medical care for the population.[1]

4 billion rubles allocated for healthcare in the Rostov region
4 billion rubles are allocated for healthcare in the Rostov region. This follows from the order of the Russian government, published on the website of legal information in October 2024. The indicated amount is 1.5 times higher than allocated in 2024 (2.67 billion rubles).
4 billion rubles were allocated to the Rostov region for the modernization of primary health care, including the purchase of medical equipment. It is planned to repair the medical building No. 1 of the district hospital of the Konstantinovsky district, the children's hospital of the consultative and diagnostic center "Health" in Rostov, as well as the city polyclinic No. 16.

By the end of 2024, medical institutions in the Rostov region will receive almost 7 thousand units of new medical equipment worth more than ₽8,7 billion. This was announced in September 2024 by the press service of the regional government.
Deliveries will significantly update the technical base of the region's health care. The main purpose of the purchase is to improve the quality of medical services in public hospitals and clinics in the region.

According to the Minister of Health of the Rostov Region Yuri Kobzev, modern technologies are already being actively introduced into the region's health care system. For example, a new angiographic complex was put into operation in Belaya Kalitva, a video gastroscope was restored in the Rostov Regional Clinical Hospital, and a universal X-ray system was installed in the Kamensky District. This equipment will significantly improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients, increasing the level of medical services.
It is noted that in parallel with the development of state programs, there is a significant increase in demand for paid medical services in the region. In the first half of 2024, demand for paid medical services increased by 27%, which is associated with an increase in interest in quality and rapid medical care. The average check for such services increased by 18%, which indicates an increase in the availability of private medicine for residents of the region.[2]
