2024: System Electric Competency Center Opening Plan
The Russian company Systeme Electric, a manufacturer of complex solutions in the field of electricity distribution and automation, plans to create a Competence Center on the basis of the St. Petersburg Mining University of Empress Catherine II. The company announced this on January 19, 2024.
The development and prospects of cooperation in the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation were discussed at the meeting by the general director of System Electric Alexei Kashaev and the rector of the St. Petersburg Mining University of Empress Catherine II Vladimir Litvinenko.
The roadmap for joint work for 2024-2030 consists of the Educational and Infrastructure blocks.
The first includes acquaintance of students with the company's enterprises in the region and practical interaction - conducting joint scientific research, organizing educational events for students with the participation of the company's specialists and speeches by System Electric experts at university conferences, student practices and internships at the company's production sites.
The second is aimed at modernizing the classrooms and laboratories of the university - re-equipping them with equipment and software complexes of the company. The goal is a gradual transition to new technologies and solutions of Russian production, by integrating them into the existing equipment of educational laboratories. The delivery of hardware systems and software "System Electric" will be carried out at the expense of the company's own funds.
Our company is interested in multilateral cooperation with the technical university of the country. The training of qualified specialists of fuel and energy and mineral resource complexes, those who are directly involved in energy management, data collection and interpretation, creating conditions for increasing the efficiency of energy consumption is an urgent, extremely important task that universities and enterprises can successfully solve together. We welcome the efforts of the leadership of the Mining University aimed at improving the higher education system, and are ready to contribute to the implementation of the pilot project on the reform of higher education, in which the university participates, - commented Alexey Kashaev. |
In order for our graduates to adapt as quickly as possible in a new workplace for themselves, they need to get all the necessary practical skills at the training stage. This is not only about additional weeks and months of stay at enterprises as interns, but also about creating conditions for a real acquaintance with the technological process, its economy, and so on. To do this, on the basis of a number of companies acting as our partners, special training and production clusters have been created, where students can get the appropriate competencies, including independently, under the supervision of experienced mentors, to work on this or that equipment. We are undoubtedly interested in expanding the list of such sites, - said Vladimir Litvinenko. |
2022: Opening of a complex of laboratories for intelligent mining
The complex of digital laboratories Intellectual mountain production"" and "Intelligent Mining Technology" begin to work St. Petersburg in mining. university The project includes software and hardware for training students of mining specialties with practical skills necessary for managing the mining transport complex in general and managing autonomous career equipment in particular. The project was implemented by the Group of Companies "" Zyfra together BelAZ with on the basis of their Competence Center. This was announced on March 22, 2022 by the Zyfra company.
Within the framework of the project, the scientific staff of teachers of St. Petersburg Mining University, together with experts from the Zyfra Group of Companies, plan to develop training programs and practical tasks for the specialty "Operator of robotic and unmanned quarry equipment."
Students will be able to acquire theoretical and practical experience in managing autonomous and robotic career technology.
