Objective Software is the German developer of services and solutions for unmanned vehicles. The company develops electronic assistants for drivers (ADAS), the system of high-precision positioning, mobile applications and programs for projects of the "smart" cities.

On the website Objective Software it is said that the company pays special attention to creation of software for cars with network capabilities and the systems of autonomous driving for producers and suppliers.

History

2018: Luxoft purchased Objective Software

On August 7, 2018 the Luxoft company announced acquisition of Objective Software at the price which was decided not to be disclosed.

As a result of the transaction Luxoft will get access to the solutions developed by Objective Software on the basis of the internetwork protocol, including the remotely-controlled platform for driving, solutions in the field of cyber security in the automobile sector, the parking scanner based on Lidar technology and to a cloud service of car-sharing using self-propelled motor transport.

Besides, purchase of Objective Software will allow Luxoft to strengthen the positions in Munich (it is one of 42 cities in which the company — for August 7, 2018 works), to expand services of software development for pilotless cars and to increase a scope of the OEM services offered Objective Software.

According to the CEO and the president of Luxoft   Dmitry Loshchinin,  the transaction strengthens the strong base based on which the company grew the business on software development and services for the automotive industry.

The head of Objective Clemens Dannheim says that the company under a wing of Luxoft had an opportunity to scale business and "influence changes which in a root change the global automobile industry".[1]
