On April 24, 2013 the IBS group reported that the Luxoft company entering into Group, being the international service provider in the development area of the custom software, announced acquisition of practice of developments open source Freedom OSS companies (USA). Thanks to this acquisition the Luxoft company expands the presence in the USA, considerably increases the customer base and strengthens the engineering examination at the expense of the developed Freedom OSS of a technique of the accelerated migration on open solutions for customers in financial and other industries. After Freedom OSS accession, at office Luxoft in New York own development team appears, and, thus, it becomes the 13th development center of Luxoft in the world.

In partnership with pioneers of the market of business solutions on the basis of an open source code, the Freedom company provides services and creates platforms which help customers to reduce costs, to increase efficiency of their information systems and business performance in general due to wider use of the open source software.
