We see great potential in the development of this geographical direction. The range of products available for purchase on the country's online sites is unusually large. At the same time, most of them do not provide for the possibility of online orders for Russians or involves a complex logistics chain for delivery Russia in with the payment of additional commissions. The opening of warehouses in the country and the expansion of the geography of PONY MARKET will provide Russians with the opportunity to make purchases directly through a single window and not overpay fees for difficult delivery. The delivery time for goods from Japan to Russia, taking into account customs clearance, will be from 4-5 days Moscow in and, St. Petersburg from 5 days in other cities of Russia. - said the CEO of PONY EXPRESS Andrei Torbin. - In addition, we will use warehouse capacity to organize a comprehensive logistics solution for Russian marketplaces and foreign sellers. Our own facilities in Japan will allow us to carry out a full cycle of work to organize export-import flows - from collecting and picking orders to delivery to the door.

File:Aquote1.png
We see the prospect of a cross-border direction. Russians still prefer to buy high-quality and original European goods through foreign sites. Closed borders and the lack of the ability to personally shop in offline stores support high demand. During the pandemic, in May 2020, cross-border traffic increased by 60%. For some online stores, traffic grew by 90%, for example, for ASOS. The expanded geography of the PONY MARKET service will allow Russian online customers to choose from more online stores. In the near future, we will also connect online stores in Japan to the service, - said Denis Chesnokov, head of the international development department of PONY EXPRESS. - In addition, we plan to use additional capacities to develop the export-import direction. The solution will allow foreign manufacturers to enter Russian online platforms with the organization of a full logistics cycle through PONY EXPRESS, and Russian manufacturers will be able to use capacity to enter the markets of European countries.
