2023:45% increase in rescue and personal protective equipment production

The capital company, which produces life-saving protective equipment, produced 45 percent more products in 10 months of 2023 than in the same period in 2022. This was announced on November 17, 2023 by the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

For 14 years, the Pozhkhimzashchita research and production company has been producing products that are used in fire and industrial safety, as well as in emergency situations. The company has developed and introduced into mass production over 50 types of products - many of which are patented and have no analogues in the country. The company is developing dynamically. So, from January to October 2023, over 250 thousand means of protection, rescue, fire extinguishing and warning were released there, which is 45 percent more than the indicators of the same period in 2022, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The manufacturer's assortment includes industrial respirators and gas masks, breathing devices, protective suits and other products, including high-tech ones. For example, one of the most popular products is a universal filtering small-sized self-rescuer. The company received more than 270 confirmed cases of successful use of the device in fires and emergencies.

There are more than four thousand industrial sites in the capital, where over 720 thousand people are employed. They produce a wide variety of goods: clothes, shoes, cosmetics, furniture, medicines, medical equipment, complex equipment and much more.
