2025: Azimut Hotels chain bought Promete sanatorium
At the end of May 2025, it became known that the Azimut Hotels hotel chain acquired control over the Promete health complex in the Krasnodar Territory, previously owned by the Alrosa diamond mining company. The sanatorium's revenue in 2024 amounted to ₽414,4 million with a net profit of ₽42,8 million. Experts estimate the market value of the facility at ₽2 billion.
According to Kommersant, Capital Hotels Rus LLC, controlled by Alexander Klyachin, received a 100% stake in Promete Health Complex LLC. The data are contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The company owns a sanatorium of the same name in the village of Nebug, Krasnodar Territory.
LLC "Health Complex "Promete "" was registered in 2018. Until January 2024, the structure was controlled by Alrosa, the world's largest diamond producer. In January 2024, the company was transferred to Mil-Time LLC, controlled by entrepreneurs Nargiza Tamaeva and Natalya Svarutanova.
A market source explained that Promete is no longer on Alrosa's balance sheet. The company declined to comment. Azimut Hotels representatives also did not comment on the deal.
Azimut Hotels is one of the largest hotel operators in Russia and has existed since 2006. The chain manages 70 hotels and sanatoriums with a total fund of more than 12 thousand rooms. The company is controlled by entrepreneur Alexander Klyachin.
The Promete sanatorium was built in the 1980s near Tuapse and covers an area of 11.3 hectares. There are 263 numbers of the category "two or three stars," said Olga Shirokova, partner of NF Group. According to the SPARK database, Promete 's revenue in 2024 decreased by 0.6% compared to 2023. At the same time, net profit increased 2.5 times.
The founder of Ivashkevich Hospitality Stanislav Ivashkevich believes that the market value of Promete is about ₽2 billion. According to him, such objects are usually purchased with the expectation of demolition and subsequent development of the territory.[1]
