The Siberian Generating Company is a leading producer and supplier of thermal energy and one of the leading producers and suppliers of electricity in the Siberian Federal District, and also provides heat transfer. The company operates in the Kemerovo Region, Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories, the Republic of Khakassia. In the total volume of generation of Siberian OES, the total share of SGK is about 20%. The main type of fuel is brown and stone embers. SGK sells most of the electricity produced in the wholesale electricity and capacity market (OREM).
History
2024: Sale of TETs-1 in Novosibirsk
In November 2024, the Siberian Generating Company (SGK) sold TETs-1 in Novosibirsk for 160 million rubles. The buyer of the asset was a large housing developer Sibirinvest Group of Companies. As the press service of SGK told Kommersant, preparations for the deal took several months. Read more here
2023: Purchase of Novomoskovskaya GRES
Siberian Generating Company (SGK, part of SUEK), as its general director Maxim Basov said on April 11, 2023, bought Novomoskovsk state district power station. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Read more here.
