History

2026: Purchase of robots for 105 million rubles for diagnostics of heating networks

In January 2026, the Siberian Generating Company (SGK) commissioned a new remote-controlled diagnostic complex for examining heating networks. Total investments in the acquisition of this equipment amounted to 105 million rubles.

Roman Syshchikov, deputy head of the control and anti-corrosion protection service for NTSK heating networks (the company is part of the SGK group), said that in 2026 it is planned to check 32 km of heating networks. According to him, about 6 km of this volume will be examined by the company using the new complex.

The diagnostic robot weighs 100 kg, and with an additional module - 130 kg. It is a universal device for examining pipes with a diameter of 400 to 1200 mm.

The equipment is equipped with visual-measuring and magnetic control modules. The principle of operation of the magnetic module is based on the analysis of changes in the electromagnetic field. The robot, moving inside the pipeline, records the distortions of this field at the points of damage, which allows you to determine their exact location, nature and residual thickness of the pipe wall.

Data from the robotic complex is displayed on the operator's monitor, processed by special software and generated in a detailed report. This makes it possible to plan repair work pointwise and preventively, before emergencies occur. The capacity of the device is about 200 meters of pipeline for 12 hours of operation.

In addition to another complex, the delivery of which is planned until the end of 2026, the company is going to purchase an additional two robotic systems in 2026 and 2027. This will significantly increase the volume of independent monitoring of engineering communications, reducing dependence on the services of third-party contractors and increasing the reliability of the heat supply system in Novosibirsk.[1]

2025: Sale of Kuznetsk CHPP due to unprofitability

Siberian Generating Company LLC sold Kuznetsk CHPP JSC (Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Region) due to unprofitability. This was announced in May 2025 by the general director of Kuzbassenergo JSC (part of the SGK) Viktor Larioshkin. The negative financial result is due to the fact that on the same bank of Novokuznetsk, where the Kuznetsk CHPP is located, another heating station operates - the Central CHPP, the owners of which acquired the Kuznetsk CHPP. According to Larioshkin, it was difficult to build a business economically in such conditions. Read more here
