Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center of FMBA of Russia

The Federal Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center is the Coordination Center for Interaction with the Ministry of Emergencies [of Russia] in the Siberian Federal District and provides specialized medical assistance by field rapid response teams in case of emergencies. According to the agreement on cooperation and interaction between the Siberian Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and the FMBA of Russia, the institution provides medical assistance to employees of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Siberian Federal District and members of their families.

2025: Ex-head of FMBA clinical center arrested on charges of taking bribe of ₽16,5 million

On February 4, 2025, the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk decided to detain Boris Barankin, former Director General of the Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center of the FMBA, until March 18, 2025. According to the Investigative Committee, he is suspected of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale. Read more here.

On May 22, 2023, it became known that Boris Barankin, former general director of the Federal Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, was detained by law enforcement officers in a large-scale fraud case (Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
