About this writes "Kommersant" with reference to the corresponding order of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. According to the document, the FSBI will receive the right to request information from Roskomnadzor and telecom operators. In addition, the new role of Svyazist will coordinate the work of telecom operators "to fulfill the tasks set by the president and the government." His powers will also include collecting information from election surveillance cameras and conducting exercises on the sustainability of runet. All large Russian data centers by October 2020 already have their own monitoring systems, and in case of emergency situations they are able to independently eliminate problems and restore performance, said iKS-Consulting analyst Stanislav Mirin.

According to Pavel Kolmychek, operating director of KROK Cloud Services, if only suppliers for state contracts are controlled, the initiative to create a CC looks acceptable, but collecting a wide range of "sensitive data" - from full information about the list of services and free resources to the tariffs of commercial players - is unlikely to benefit the industry.[2]
