notAnotherOne is a Russian electronics developer founded in 2013. He is engaged in the design, development and production of user devices and the integration of cloud solutions. The company was created by immigrants from Yota and Yota Devices Igor Mikhnenko and Vera Kozyr. The head office of notAnotherOne is located in St. Petersburg (by May 2020). There are offices in San Francisco (USA) and Shenzhen (China).

History

2025: ICS Holding bought 100% notAnotherOne

At the end of September 2025, it became known that KNS Group (part of ICS Holding) acquired 100% of the industrial design studio Technological Singularity (notAnotherOne brand). Information on the amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Founded in 2013, notAnotherOne specializes in industrial design and consumer device development. The projects include the LifeControl smart home system for MegaFon, the creation of the Yandex Stations industrial design, SberDevices products (SberBox, SberBox Time, SberBox Top, SberPortal), etc. notAnotherOne provides a full development cycle: analyzes the market, designs a recognizable style, develops electronics, puts products into production and controls the release of series. Among the key areas of activity are named: wearable gadgets, sensors and sensors, smart devices, consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive electronics, industrial automation devices and multimedia devices.

Initially, the Russian manufacturer of IT equipment Yadro (LLC KNS Group) bought 51% in the notAnotherOne structure. In March 2025, KNS Group increased its share in this studio to 75%. As part of the next transaction, the remaining 25% of the organization was acquired.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, referring to information received from the Yadro press service, consolidation is "a deliberate step dictated by the desire to create products in which seamless integration of advanced engineering and impeccable design is a competitive advantage of the company." It is emphasized that the notAnotherOne team will continue to work with both Yadro products and external customers: this will contribute to the "influx of new ideas and practices."^[1]

2020: Yadro bought 51% of notAnotherOne

On May 18, 2020, it became known about the sale of 51% of notAnotherOne to Yadro (part of ICS Holding, which was bought by USM Group Alisher Usmanov at the end of April). Its participants did not disclose the financial side of the agreement.

Information about the change of ownership of the notAnotherOne control package is displayed in the SPARK-Interfax system. A representative of Yadro confirmed to RBC the purchase of a 51 percent stake in notAnotherOne.

Usmanov's company bought a manufacturer of smart speakers

According to the analytics service of counterparties Seldon.Basis, the company became a member of the founders on May 13, 2020. Another 26% in notAnotherOne belongs to Vera Kozyr, 23% to Igor Mikhnenko.

NotAnotherOne has developed more than 20 devices: smartwatches and trackers, smart home devices, DVRs, a variety of telemetry sensors, etc. In particular, the company participated in the development of the industrial design of Yandex.Station, and also created a line of smart home devices for MegaFon.

As Forbes writes with reference to Yadro Technology Director Artyom Ikoev, the company strives to create all elements - from infrastructure to end devices. The interaction of companies will allow them to create solutions for artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and 5G networks, he said.

Cooperation with Yadro will allow notAnotherOne to increase the pace of development and release of innovative products, says Vera Kozyr, CEO of notAnotherOne. According to her, the company intends to expand the list of industries for its products and develop a line of devices for business.^[2]
