Tekhnoshok is 39 shops in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and the cities of the Northwest. The first Tekhnoshok shop opened in 1995. The total floor space of network makes 54.1 thousand sq.m. Tekhnoshok is an official distributor of the majority of the known trademarks of the equipment. In assortment of retail network more than 15,000 names of the equipment are submitted.
2014: Tehnosila and Tekhnoshok integrated
In September, 2014 Tehnosila and Tekhnoshok companies, two networks of retail by electronics and home appliances, announced merge. The joint network which will work under a brand Tehnosila contains 122 shops with the floor space more than 230 thousand sq.m in all Federal districts except for Far East. Annual revenues of the united company at the end of 2013 were about 27 billion rubles.
Under the terms of the transaction of a share in the united company will be distributed between new investors who legally transferred business of networks to the united company. Both parties receive shares in the united company: the current shareholders receive according to 30% (Tekhnoshok) and 70% (Tehnosila) of stocks. Places in Board of Directors of the united company will be distributed as follows: 4 persons will be appointed from outside Tehnosila and 3 persons will be provided from outside Tekhnoshok. Ilya Timchenko is appointed the new CEO of the joint network. The FRR investment company (First Russian Recovery) acted as the organizer of the transaction. Support of the transaction was performed by the international consulting company KPMG.
