2020: Creation

At the end of January, 2020 the Aeris Communications company specializing in solutions for IoT integrated with Volkswagen Group of America to create joint venture for development of the IT platform for vehicles. The new company received the name of Ventic LLC.

The joint venture which 51% possess Volkswagen and 49% of Aeris was engaged in development of technologies for the Volkswagen cars in North America. Car-Net start — platforms of the next generation for the Volkswagen cars which start is planned for the end of 2020 will become the first Ventic project.

According to the statement of Volkswagen, the platform manages all devices of the car on a unified basis, saving at the same time an opportunity to set separate solutions depending on the region or model of the vehicle. The single platform should increase flexibility and speed of system operation and also efficiency and customer service quality.

Our IT platform is beyond normal remote services, security systems and protection of vehicles — the director of Volkswagen on global to information technologies and the board member of Ventic Abdallah Shanti noted. — This platform has improbable flexibility which allows to create new business models due to integration with third-party developers and is a basis for communication between all connected devices.

Along with the declaration of joint venture, Aeris announced the software of Mobility Suite. The packet offers a set of the products IoT, independent of a cloud, created for the aid to car makers. Affirms that the packet offers the modular program components, best in the class, necessary for fast deployment of software for vehicles and upgrade of the existing program infrastructure. It is expected that Mobility Suite will find application in developments, joint with Volkswagen.^[1]
