2020: Emerson purchased Verdant
In March, 2020 Emerson announced Verdant acquisition, but financial and other aspects of the agreement of the company did not begin to open. Thanks to this transaction the buyer will be able to strengthen the division, the developing power solutions for commercial and residential buildings.

Purchase of Verdant it was announced approximately in a month after Emerson unveiled the plan for reduction of $425 million expenses which among other things assumes closing of the different enterprises and reduction of 2900 jobs.
Emerson intends to continue buying up of the most attractive and perspective assets. According to the chairman of the board of directors and the CEO of Emerson David Farrah (David Farr), is always considered about 10-15 companies which can potentially be purchased.
As of March, 2020 the number of staff of Verdant is 70 people. The producer was included into 500 most fast-growing technology companies according to Deloitte.[1]
