Launch of a veterinary production plant for 2 billion rubles in Moscow

In November 2023, Vetbiohim launched a plant for the production of immunological medicines for animals at full capacity on the territory of the Moscow Technopolice SEZ. The capacity of the enterprise allows the production of about 5.5 million vials of live vaccines, 10 million vials of liquid immunobiological preparations and more than 1.5 million vials of chemical and pharmaceutical agents per year.

According to Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, 2 billion rubles have been invested in this project. The area of ​ ​ the plant is 6.5 thousand square meters. m, of which over 4 thousand "squares" occupy clean rooms.

According to Efimov, thanks to the launch of the plant on the territory of the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow," the production of immunobiological drugs for small pets in the first half of 2023 increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2022. By November 2023, the range of Vetbiohim exceeds 100 biological drugs.

The Minister of the Moscow Government Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky , the head noted that only in 2022 Vetbiohim prepared four new drugs for registration, and also launched the production of an inactivated vaccine "" Combovac-Endomast against infectious mastitis and cow endometrites, which cause great damage to domestic livestock.

The Vetbiohim vaccines, which contain antigen for the prevention of rabies, are in high demand on the pet veterinary drugs market. Sales of individual drugs in this segment in 2023 increased in physical terms five to six times. The high effectiveness of the vaccines of the SEZ Technopolice Moscow is determined primarily by the antigenic composition that forms immunity against infections of animals circulating in Russia, Ovchinsky added.[1]

GMP certification of the Republic of Turkey

The production site of the company for the production of veterinary drugs, located in the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolice Moscow," is certified according to the GMP standard of the Republic of Turkey. The international certificate confirms the guarantee of the quality of the product, its compliance with world requirements. The document gives the company opportunities to develop export potential and establish trade relations with representatives of friendly countries. This was announced on June 27, 2023 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

In 2022, the Vetbiohim company completed construction plants on the territory of the Technopolis SEZ, Moscow investing 1.6 billion in the creation of production. rubles This ensured the creation of more than 100 new work places.As of June 2023, 36 vaccines for agricultural and pets, four serum and immunoglobulin drugs, as well as 56 types of test systems for diagnosing diseases are supplied to the Russian market from the enterprise. Only in 2022, the manufacturer registered and launched the production of four vaccines, three more are being prepared for registration. To gain a competitive advantage in the foreign market, the company was certified according to Turkish GMP standards. The company plans to export up to 10 million doses vaccine preparations per year, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

2022: Completion of the plant at the Pechatniki site

At the Pechatniki site of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone (SEZ), the construction of the Vetbiohim plant has been completed, where several types of vaccines and related drugs for agricultural and domestic animals will be produced. This was announced on December 23, 2022 by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

As of December 2022, commissioning is carried out at the plant. A full launch of the enterprise is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023. Its capacity will allow the production of several tens of millions of doses of vaccines annually, which will help provide the Russian market with demanded goods and will contribute to the development of import substitution in the field of veterinary medicine. The company invested 1.6 billion rubles in production, - said Vladimir Efimov.

The enterprise is designed and built taking into account the international standard for pharmaceutical production, which includes strict requirements for the organization of production and quality control of medicines. Among them are the availability of qualified personnel and clean rooms, which are provided with controlled technological environments and equipped with modern automated equipment.

Vetbiohim specializes in the production of immunoprophylactic drugs, diagnostics and treatment of infectious and parasitic diseases. As of December 2022, the company produces 37 vaccines for agricultural and small pets, four serums and immunoglobulin, as well as 60 types of test systems for diagnosing diseases.

After the launch of the plant, the list of high-tech enterprises at the Pechatniki site will be replenished with veterinary production, which implements its own developments.
