CB Geostar Navigation

The innovative company, is focused on developments of the combined navigation receivers for the market of telematic services. Hardware-software solutions of CB Geostar Navigation are created taking into account perspective and compatibility with all existing global and local navigation systems of commercial application: GLONASS, GPS, SBAS, and also Galileo or Compass.

The CB has the state accreditation of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation in information technology field. In total the company implemented in Russia and abroad more than 235 thousand navigation receivers of the GeoS series. The first demonstration of a prototype to the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin: MAKS air show, Zhukovsky, August, 2011.

2010

The producer of GLONASS/GPS receivers GeoStar-Navigation in 2010 earned 110 million rubles, having implemented 56 thousand devices. The total amount of the civil market of navigation receivers in 2010 in Russia, by estimates of "Geostar-navigatsii", was 95-100 million pieces. Thus, the share in the company is estimated at 56%, and a share of the main competitor – CB Navis - at 26%.

History

In 2003 the team of the specialists engineers uniform on outlook and spirit was created. Designing of navigation receivers was their main hobby and work (then it was single-channel GLONASS the receiver of the size of a silicate brick). But by 2008, with development of electronics, with availability of component base and the accumulated engineering experience, it became clear that the command is capable to create absolutely new product – the double-system navigation receiver GLONASS/GPS, not having analogs not only in Russia, but also in the world. In parallel there was a development of the company "M2M Telematics", become in 2008 the largest telematic operator and the system integrator in the Russian market what remains and now. At that time the company already had the GLONASS/GPS receiver of own development and production. M2M Telematics was on the way to the company of a full production cycle: from the idea of the equipment to a cloud service of the user. Search of each other was crowned with success, and in December, 2008 the constituent assembly of CB Geostar Navigation took place. And on January 19, 2009 LLC CB Geostar Navigation was registered.

2013

The CB Geostar Navigation company which is a part of M2M Telematics Group released upgraded version of the software of v3.237 for the navigation modules GeoS-3 and GeoS-3M - the most compact and cheap double-system chipsets in the world market in comparison with the current stated analogs.
