Biography
Alexey Chernetsov was born on November 29, 1977 in Leningrad.

2024: CEO of VTB Mobile
From April 1, 2024, Alexey Chernetsov was appointed General Director of VTB Mobile, who moved to this position from PJSC Rostelecom. In this post, he is responsible for the development and strengthening of the position of VTB operator in the market of mobile communications and digital services, representatives of VTB Bank told TAdviser on April 1, 2024.
According to them, the key tasks of the top manager were the development of converged products, an increase in the share of mobile penetration into the bank's products, the development of the VTB ecosystem as part of the implementation of the bank's strategy, as well as the promotion of VTB Mobile for VTB customers and partners.
Earlier, from July 1, 2023, Mikhail Kholkhunov held the position of General Director of VTB Mobile. In March 2024, he left this post and moved to another project, representatives of VTB specified to TAdviser.
As of the beginning of April 2024, more than 20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation can become a subscriber of VTB Mobile. During 2024, the mobile operator plans to double the number of regions of presence.
