Guvanche Donmez graduated from the Bosphorus University in Istanbul with a degree in industrial engineering.

Career

From 2000 to 2012, he worked at Procter & Gamble Corporation, starting from the position of junior brand manager, the last appointment was Director of Marketing in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

Since 2012, he has been Marketing Director of Samsung Electronics Russia.

Since 2015, he held the position of CEO of the Russian division of DP Eurasia N.V. - master franchisee of the Domino's Pizza brand, provided an IPO for the London Stock Exchange.

Since 2019 - the head of the Delivery Club.

2020: Chief Executive Officer of O2O Holding

On May 12, 2020, Sberbank announced that Guvanch Donmez was appointed to the position of chief executive officer for foodtech O2O Holding, a joint venture between Sberbank and Mail.ru Group.

Guvanche Donmez will leave his post at the Mail.ru Group, expanding the number of projects in charge. Now in his area of ​ ​ responsibility will be the development of all companies associated with the joint venture operating in the catering market. These are Delivery Club, Scooter, SberFood, the ERP platform for the R-Keeper restaurant business and other projects. At the same time, Guvanch Donmez will continue to lead the Delivery Club team in the same mode.

Guvanche Donmez joined the Mail.ru Group in July 2019. Under his leadership, Delivery Club doubled the volume of orders, completed the transformation into a full-fledged logistics service, and also launched food delivery. At the end of the first quarter of 2020, Delivery Club's revenue doubled compared to the same period in 2019 and reached 1.82 billion rubles. As of May 12, 2020, Delivery Club's own delivery is available in 70 cities of the Russian Federation, although at the beginning of 2019 it worked only in part of million-plus cities. In total, the service is available to residents of more than 150 cities in the country. In April, Delivery Club completed 4.5 million orders (excluding food delivery), the previous record of 3.5 million orders was set only three months ago - in January 2020.

The creation of the joint venture of Sberbank and the Mail.ru Group in the field of food and transport was completed in December 2019. The assessment of the value of the joint venture when reaching the targets will exceed 100 billion rubles. In April 2020, it became known that the joint venture will receive control in the Samokat express food delivery service. For May 2020, Samokat is already integrated into the Delivery Club.

2023: Director of E-Commerce at Magnit

On January 10, 2023, PJSC Magnit announced the appointment of Guvanch Donmez as director of e-commerce.

Guvanche is responsible for shaping digital sales channel strategy, scaling digital sales channels, building and developing e-commerce infrastructure, and ensuring that e-commerce's key financial metrics are met. Guvanche Donmez reports directly to the president of the Magnit retail chain.

Guvanche Donmez will assume the duties of the Company's E-Commerce Director after obtaining a work permit.
