The decision to change the president of FESCO was made by the board of directors of PJSC DVMP (the parent company FESCO). Commenting on his appointment, Peter Ivanov noted the following:
The mobility of the market structure in the current environment requires us to take actions that are verified and coordinated with partners and shareholders. FESCO's status as one of the leaders in the transport industry obliges a lot - not only to maintain positions, but also to develop new directions, to use modern technologies and practices in achieving the goals of the country's logistics sovereignty. This will require constant improvement of professional skills of specialists and production processes, increasing labor productivity. Along with business goals, we will continue to pay due attention to the development of the regions where the group operates. I am grateful for the trust provided and am ready to apply all available forces and knowledge to further the growth of the group. |
The press service of the company added that Pyotr Ivanov has extensive managerial experience in federal companies in the transport industry, relevant authorities.
In September 2024, Petr Ivanov was also appointed General Director of Rosatom Logistics, within which Rosatom combined its logistics assets. Previously, there was no such organization of the management system in the structure of Rosatom. The main reason for its appearance, as the representative of the state corporation explained to RBC, is "the strategic importance of logistics assets."
INFOline-Analytics CEO Mikhail Burmistrov, in a conversation with the publication, called an important vector for consolidating the work of transport enterprises within the state corporation.
It is important to set up effective interaction between companies in solving state-level problems: the appointment of Pyotr Ivanov will improve the coordination of the participation of Rosatom's logistics assets in the implementation of state programs, to which they are directly tied. And the creation of a strategic add-on will allow coordinating the work of companies in the integrated management of transport processes, the expert said.[5] |
