Showing a Russian hydrogen-fueled drone

In July 2023, Aeromax introduced the first domestic hydrogen unmanned aerial vehicle. We are talking about the SH-750 model, which is designed to implement projects for the delivery of goods for various sectors of the economy. It is planned that the development tests will be completed in 2024, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

According to the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky, the new model of the domestic helicopter will have a high carrying capacity - up to 300 kg - and improved flight and technical characteristics. The maximum speed will reach 200 km per hour. In addition, such a helicopter has a high degree of resistance to wind load and an anti-icing system, which will allow it to be used in regions with difficult climatic conditions, he said.

Aeromax SH-750

It is noted that the new version of the SH-750 is environmentally friendly, since it works entirely on hydrogen fuel, which, unlike other familiar fuel, does not form toxic emissions. The fuel cell is produced by the small company Center for Hydrogen Technologies LLC. The localization of the fuel cell is small, it is 60% foreign, in Russia installations of this capacity have never been made. A Russian electric motor was delivered to the helicopter.

In the experimental legal mode, UAVs are tested in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the tests were carried out in the interests of the Russian Post.

Aeromax also introduced a hydrogen-fueled copter that can fly 4 hours without recharging, or 3 hours with a cargo of 5-10 kg. the drone is equipped with a fast charging connector. There are many customers for such a drone, it is able to carry a very accurate camera and give detailed aerial photography.[1]

Showing a civilian cargo unmanned helicopter with a record carrying capacity

On May 18, 2023, Aeromax introduced the SH-3000 civilian unmanned helicopter, which, according to the developers, has no analogues in the world in terms of takeoff weight and carrying capacity and will be able to transport up to a ton of cargo.

The length of the aircraft is almost 13 meters, the maximum speed is 210 km/h. The helicopter is able to stay in the air for up to five hours and cover a distance of up to 900 km. The drone is designed to transport goods in hard-to-reach regions of the country. The assembly of the first prototype and the start of ground tests are scheduled for the end of 2024.

Civilian unmanned helicopter SH-3000

As noted by the press service of Aeromax, the company has developed a helicopter taking into account the needs of the anchor customer Gazpromneft-Supply. The companies are actively cooperating on the development of unmanned solutions for cargo transportation and since 2021 have conducted a number of joint test flights of cargo vehicles with a take-off weight of over 30 kg.

Aeromax General Director Andriy Shevchenko said that the cargo helicopter will SH-3000 be able to fly automatically day and night, including in difficult weather conditions.

This makes it an equal, and somewhere even more attractive solution for cargo transportation compared to manned equipment... We analyze the market taking into account the prospects and are working on the creation of competitive devices. Today we present unique technologies for cargo projects. We are looking for different approaches in order to make transportation using unmanned aircraft systems as efficient and affordable as possible, - said Shevchenko.

Certification of SH-350 and SH-450 for operation under the experimental legal regime

Two aircraft of the company Aeromax received acts of assessing the suitability of an unmanned aviation system for operation within the framework experimental legal regime of (EPR). This was announced on September 16, 2022 in the company. Aeromax Certification was carried out by the SibNIA-Test Aviation Certification Center in September 2022.

Model SH-450

According to the results of certification flights, two civilian unmanned helicopters with a maximum take-off weight of 350 kg and 450 kg received certificates of suitability assessment. They are capable of lifting 50 kg and 100 kg into the air, respectively. The SH-350 and SH-450 models are designed to work in hard-to-reach areas and performed well last year during demonstration flights in the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts. As part of the EPR, drones are planned to be used to deliver goods.

In addition to equipment, the specialists who will be involved in this work have also confirmed their readiness for flights. Three external Aeromax test pilots received temporary external pilot certificates to manage these types of aircraft.

"The issuance of these documents for equipment and specialists is a good temporary solution while the Ministry of Transport is developing general rules for certification of heavy drones and a system for training external pilots. Such a temporary mechanism allows you to professionally assess the readiness of ALS and pilots to perform air transportation and aviation work. Our company is admitted to practical activities in the regions participating in the experimental legal regime, and in the near future we will start the first flights, "the Aeromax press service commented on the event.

Representation of the reduced model SH-450

Aeromax presented a model of a civilian unmanned vessel on June 17, 2022.

The company presents a reduced model of a helicopter-type aircraft SH-450.

This drone is used to extinguish fires, search and rescue, monitoring and agricultural work, as well as cargo transportation. SH-450 has a maximum takeoff weight of 450 kg and can carry up to 100 kg of payload. It develops a speed of up to 150 km/h, is able to stay in the air for up to six hours, rising to an altitude of up to 3500 m. SH-450 performs aviation work even in poor visibility and in difficult climatic conditions, takes off and lands on unprepared sites.

SH-450 is a representative of one of the families of unmanned aircraft systems with increased carrying capacity and flight duration. Aeromax pays special attention to these characteristics, forming a line of products for cargo delivery projects.

Presentation of SH-3000 and SH-750

On May 19, 2022, Aeromax presented a model of a civilian heavy lifting unmanned helicopter with a take-off weight of up to 3000 kg. The design of this unmanned aviation system (ALS) of the helicopter type is SH-3000 carried out by the company's specialists together with research institutes. According to the calculations of the designers, the maximum payload will reach 1 ton. Test flights of the first model are expected to take place as early as 2023.

SH-3000

SH-3000 will be distinguished by maximum adaptability to flights in difficult weather conditions over the plain, hilly, mountainous areas and water surface. Improved take-off and landing characteristics will allow it to be used at complex and unprepared sites for the implementation of cargo delivery projects in hard-to-reach regions of the country.

The company also presented a civilian unmanned helicopter-type cargo SH-750 ready for flight, capable of lifting up to 300 kg of payload into the air. The helicopter can stay in the air for up to 5 hours and cover a distance of up to 600 km, reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h. This model has a high degree of resistance to wind load, an anti-icing system, which allows you to use the aircraft in difficult climatic conditions.

SH-750

SH-750 is designed for cargo delivery projects, including within the framework of the experimental legal regime for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems. Aeromax has officially entered the list of ALS development enterprises and operators admitted to the implementation of the program in the Tomsk Region, Kamchatka Territory, Chukotka, Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts.

Interest in unmanned aviation systems for cargo transportation will increase from year to year, primarily when delivering heavy and dimensional cargo to hard-to-reach territories. This is dictated by the efficiency, safety, ecology and economy of this type of delivery, as well as the ability to use drones at unprepared airfields, the press service of Aeromax LLC noted. - Anticipating the demand of the market, the company began the development of a SH-3000 of increased carrying capacity with special flight and operational characteristics, which will be able to ensure the delivery of goods up to one ton. In the meantime, the models available in the company, including the novelty of the SH-750 exhibition, are able to solve logistics problems within the country.
