On March 21, 2023, Open Mobile Platform announced the release of an updated version of the Russian Aurora Center corporate mobile device management platform (version 3.2). The update expands the capabilities of the platform in the corporate segment and allows companies and organizations using foreign EMM solutions to transfer to it.
According to the company, key changes in Aurora Center 3.2 include optimized integration with Microsoft Active Directory, user certificate management and push service for Android. The updated version of the platform integrates with the LDAP directory, configures connection parameters to Microsoft Active Directory (MS AD) through the console interface to regularly synchronize groups of MS AD users whose devices can be managed in Aurora Center 3.2. This optimizes the commissioning and inventory of mobile devices.
Integration with Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) allows you to set synchronization settings with the Certification Authority, deliver and delete user and root certificates to managed devices. Updated versions of Aurora OS and Aurora Center management platform are certified by FSTEC of Russia. This was announced on November 7, 2022 by the Open Mobile Platform (OMP) company.
