We develop a line of own touch solutions for UAVs, robotics and adjacent areas, and we represent the sensor expected mass application. It has low cost, about several ten dollars, the miniature sizes and is intended for a wide class of tasks.

According to the company, as well as any radar, an operation principle of Cognitive Mini Radar is based on the radiation of radio waves and registration of their reflections from objects. It belongs to the class 3D (scans space in the plane). The device has the sizes comparable with a toothpick and the weight of 40 grams. Its operating frequency is 77-81 GHz or 60-64 GHz (in these ranges perhaps two executions). Reach reaches 100 m. Its basic purpose is control of space on vehicle perimeter (blind zones, the evolution moments, departure on the intersection, warnings of collision, the parking, etc.) and also the solution of a similar class of tasks in robotics and multikopter.

Cognitive Mini Radar is a task to understand what occurs around the car, the tram or other vehicle. It is easily integrated with any aircraft equipment: computer, flight microcontroller, etc. It just you turn on and you work. He does not take the place in general.

Andrey Geltser, the head of developments Cognitive Pilot told

Cognitive Mini Radar is capable to give exact values of speed, the direction of the movement and coordinate of objects within an observed scene in any weather, a rain, fog, snow, and any time of day and nights.

For April, 2020 Cognitive Pilot completed the stage R&D and passed to a preindustrial stage of preparation of production of the radar.

In the market of automobile component parts there is a number of radar solutions of the known Tier-companies: Bosch, Continental, Denso, Valeo and others. However the specifics of this segment of the market consist that the listed brands work in logic of very large volumes with tight restrictions on functionality with a limited number, mainly, of large car makers, executing for them million orders, and do not show big interest in cooperation with other market where for one consumer volumes of batches are from units to hundreds of devices a year, and such consumers great variety.

For this reason a large number of average and small players have no opportunity for April, 2020 it is clear to purchase sensors and to expect necessary functionality and technical support at the solution of the tasks. The quantity of startups in this zone says that it is dynamically developing and perspective market.
