Recall that Rostelecom, which owns the controlling stake in Safedata, according to the results of 2015, is the largest provider of data center services in Russia. As a result of the consolidation of assets under his brand, several large data centers merged at once. As of December 2016, Rostelecom has 22 data centers in Russia.

It is worth noting that at the end of October 2016, Rostelecom DPC signed an agreement with the structure of Rostec Corporation - RT-Inform. The state corporation plans to use the services of Rostelecom data centers and place part of the IT infrastructure of its industrial enterprises in them. For example, the Russian Helicopters holding is among the first to do this. [1]

Safedata did not confirm that the construction of the new Moscow-3 data center is a direct consequence of this agreement.
