2020: Announcement of the solution on computer vision for needs of business structures

The NtechLab company, the technology partner of State Corporation Rostec, presented on October 27, 2020 the solution on computer vision for needs of business structures. Use of computer vision from NtechLab will allow business to collect information on a sex, age, time of visit and a lokalizovannost of clients on the areas. The solution is directed to the enterprises from show business, retail and shopping centers, banks and the companies from the sphere of hospitality.

The solution NtechLab is implemented based on the main software product of FindFace Security company. The sensing technology of silhouettes is its cornerstone that allows to obtain the general anonymized information about the number of the people who are in front of the camera and their demographic structure. Partners of NtechLab will also be able to control observance of epidemiological restrictions, to prevent formation of queues and correctness of wearing medical masks by personnel.

We see high potential for implementation of the systems of computer vision in a business segment. Our solution is capable to collect customer information in completely anonymized mode that will help to draw marketing direction of the company a realistic portrait of the client and to objectively define fillability of the areas without identification of each specific visitor. The solution NtechLab for October, 2020 is already implemented in business processes of the Center of oceanography and sea biology Moskvarium - one of the large oceanographic centers of the world. 2019: The announcement of the wearable camera with function of face recognition based on FindFace

On May 22, 2019 the company NtechLab, one of world leaders in the field of biometric technologies, reported that together with Dahua Technology Rus, Russian division of world solution provider video surveillances, provided the wearable camera with function of face recognition with use algorithm FindFace.

The solution DAHUA Technology Rus and NtechLab is implemented on the basis of the wearable personal MPT210 video recorder with installed application of FindFace Security Mobile. Directly recognition of the person is made on the server with installed solution of FindFace Security while detecting of persons is performed onboard the device. Such configuration allows not to broadcast all video flow from the camera through a mobile network of data transmission, transferring to the server only images of persons with necessary metadata, without loss of quality. When finding coincidence to the database of persons on the video recorder the notification arrives, it vibrates and publishes a sound signal. All process takes less than one second.

Thanks to the existence on the back panel of the camera LCD of the screen carrying the camera no additional hardware is required to study results of recognition. The camera is equipped with the battery on 3200 MAh that allows it to work without recharge till 8 o'clock, and supports hot swap of the battery. The device supports connection with network by means of a mobile network of data transmission 3G/4G and Wi-Fi, supports video recording capability in format 2K (2560x1440) and a photo to 34 Megapixels and data transmission under protocols NFC and Bluetooth. Also it is equipped with sensors GPS and GLONASS. The camera works under operating system Android management 6.0.1.

Help in detention of the criminal

On November 20, 2018 the NtechLab company reported that the system of face recognition FindFace Security helped law enforcement agencies of Kemerovo to delay the criminal who was wanted on suspicion of robbery. According to the company, detention resulted from test implementation of 5 cameras in convenience stores for the fourth day after the beginning of system operation.

In a number of shops of Kemerovo our company mounted the cameras with face recognition function which in the experimental mode scanned a flow of buyers regarding appearance of unwanted clients. Experiments on implementation of face recognition in the systems of city video surveillance for automation of work of law enforcement agencies are made worldwide including in a number of the largest cities of Russia. In particular, earlier was declared about deployment of a pilot project on the implementing solution FindFace Security on 3,000 cameras of city video surveillances in Moscow. In May, 2018 the Russian company NtechLab - the technology partner of Rostec on the "safe city" project within the TsIPR conference announced an output to the FindFace Security market - the "boxed" solution for the organization of video surveillance with face recognition function.

It allows real to identify in the mode persons in video flow, comparing search results to databases, and at coincidence detection instantly to send notifications to employees of security services or hospitality to their mobile devices. All process from the actual appearance of the person in front of the camera before receiving a signal takes less than five seconds.

FindFace Security works with normal cameras and will recognize persons including in the complicated conditions: at bad lighting and existence of foreign objects in a frame, at different turns of the head and change of appearance of the person. The architecture of service is enough scaled to connect almost unlimited number of video cameras and servers, developers state.

A system can be used in different scenarios: from recognition of unwanted visitors for prevention of fraudulent activity and conflict situations before quality improvement of customer service and the solution of difficult marketing tasks. For example, for demonstration of the personalized advertizing or collecting of statistics about in what goods the buyers belonging to this or that age group are interested.

Before entry into the market in the form of the "boxed" solution the technology was implemented in a number of projects of federal scale. In particular, it is implemented within pilot projects "The safe city" in a number of regions of Russia in the large Russian cities, including Moscow. The Rostec state corporation will use this product for security and access control at the key enterprises.

The technology was tested, for example, in the Moscow subway and as of June, 2018 continues to be tested in a city video surveillance system of Moscow. At the request of law enforcement agencies it is possible to connect these or those sections of video surveillance to it. According to TAdviser from the representative, in the experimental mode a system is also going to be used at stadium.

The representative of NtechLab told TAdviser that in the experimental mode their technology it is also going to use at stadium Luzhniki within the FIFA World Cup of 2018. Earlier a system was already rolled during the match of Russia and Brazil, he says. Then it allowed "eliminate" several fans from "black list", access to which to stadium is prohibited.
