Version 15.3.2 for Astra Linux Special Edition 1.8

In "KB Panorama" developed GIS "Panorama" version 15.3.2 for the OS "Astra Linux Special Edition" 1.8. This version implements the tasks of automatically arranging object signatures and displaying a map legend. The multiple copy mode of the map editor has been added in tasks that allow you to select a coordinate system and map projection. The functionality of loading parameters from the XML file was implemented, an update of classifiers located on the GIS Server was added. This was announced on October 25, 2024 by representatives of the Panorama design bureau.

As reported, the task "Automatic placement of signatures" has been added, designed to create signatures of objects based on their semantic characteristics. You can customize signature settings such as target map, scale, object views, and localization settings. You can save the settings to a parameter file and then use them to reprocess the objects in the map that you previously processed.

The "Map Legend" task is implemented, which provides information on the composition of the document: maps, matrices, screens, geoportals and other elements. You can control the visibility of data by dragging and dropping in the list to change the order of layers. Data items are accompanied by icons, and their names can be displayed in full or abbreviated form. You can use Object Lists to save selection sets to your map. These sets are formed using filters or manually and cover all maps in the document. Lists of objects are saved in a special file with the extension OBX, the name of which is the same as the name of the main document. These lists can be used for different operations on groups of objects, such as selection, union, intersection, search, and signature.

The Multiple Copy Object mode has been added to the Map Editor, allowing you to create copies of an object or group of objects in a given direction, with a certain amount and space. You can specify the direction of reproduction along the coordinate axes or vector by specifying the required parameters. Once the values are set, the map displays the contours of all copies, which can then be confirmed and saved. The reproduction options are available for editing through the context menu.

The Map Passport, Raster Projection Transform, and Raster Projection Settings tasks enhance the ability to customize the coordinate system and map projection. The Map Passport task adds the ability to save user settings to an XML file. All three tasks have added the ability to download previously saved settings from the XML file that is part of the installation and contains the most frequently used settings. In addition, the user can independently prepare an XML file with a description of the necessary projections and coordinate systems that will be processed in the dialogs. Added a tool to centrally update classifiers at client workstations when they are updated on the GIS Server. In the "Data Placement" dialog, a field has been added to specify the GIS host Server version at least 11.0.8 with classifier standards. Classifiers from the server share are automatically updated on the client. If there are classifiers in the template with the same name, but different extensions, the RSC format is given priority. If the extension is different on the client, the classifier type is automatically replaced with the type hosted on the server. To reduce the load on the network, updating can occur with a slight delay.

GIS "Panorama"

Added support for the operating system "Astra Linux Special Edition" version 1.8. "Astra Linux Special Edition" is a domestic certified operating system with built-in Information Security Tools (IPS) information for stable and safe operation IT infrastructures of any scale and processing of information of various degrees of confidentiality. The OS includes a set of programs for solving everyday office and multimedia tasks. Astra Linux Special Edition version 1.8 implements the visual style of Astra Proxima, includes support for two (kernels Linux 6.1 and 6.6), optimizes the process of deploying and updating the system, adds 15-based security DBMS PostgreSQL and other important changes.

GIS "Panorama"

GIS "Panorama" is a universal domestic one. geo-information system The program is designed to accumulate, automate and storages display data, calculation results and forecasts that have a geospatial reference. GIS "Panorama" contains means for displaying and processing vector, raster and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools for solving specialized tasks of modeling the movement of special objects against the background of a 3D model, predicting the consequences of emergencies at hazardous objects, monitoring the movement of aircraft, conducting geodetic and topographic work, processing data from navigation devices/, GPSGLONASS printing displayed spatial data to various output devices and many others.

The updated version of the program is available for download on the Panorama KB website in the Download section.

Version 15.3.1 for Astra Linux Special Edition

On October 7, 2024, Panorama KB announced the development of Panorama GIS version 15.3.1 for OCAstra Linux Special Edition. In the updated version, the task of viewing the attributes of spatial database objects connected through DBM files is implemented. Tools for automatic decryption of satellite images have been added, the task of comparing altitude matrices has been developed, the list of supported formats for exporting map data to the Mbtiles pyramid of tiles has been expanded, map editing modes have been improved.

GIS Panorama

According to the company, the program implements the task "View attributes from the database." The mode provides the display of attributes of objects from spatial databases connected through DBM files, arbitrary attribute tables. For each table you select from the database, you add a bookmark that displays its contents. Up to three user-selected tables can additionally be placed under all bookmarks. Table entries can be filtered by column, by attribute value, or by a specified SQL query. Sorted and filtered table entries can be saved to a text CSV file using Export to CSV mode. The Map Location mode synchronizes a table entry and a map object associated via a DBM file or utility fields.

The capabilities of the Panorama GIS for automatic decryption of satellite images have been expanded. The task "Automatic recognition of satellite images" has been added a neural network model for highlighting the contours of buildings on images of the area. To train the model, satellite images of the cities of the Russian Federation were used together with vector maps containing the applied contours of the roofs and walls of buildings. The resulting model provides recognition accuracy over 90%. The service brings the recognized contours of buildings to a rectangular shape and adjusts their location so that they exactly correspond to the foundation of buildings.

The "Automatic Satellite Image Recognition" task allows you to process terrain images in RSW/JPG/TIFF/PNG formats and data from open geoportals. For accurate determination of building contours, the spatial resolution of images should be from 0.5 to 1 meter/pixel. The processing results are transmitted to the user as a vector map downloaded over the WFS protocol. The task is called from the Launch Applications list - Automatic creation of objects. Recognition of building contours in satellite images of the city of Moscow within an area of 25 square kilometers took 2 minutes 20 seconds. As a result, 2895 objects were created.

The task "Comparison of height matrices" was added, designed to compare the information of two identical height matrices. The initial data are two open height matrices. The output matrix contains relative heights of the second matrix with respect to the first matrix, that is, a difference in heights of the second and first matrix or a module of this difference is entered into each element of the output matrix. You can select the scale, precision (feature size), and dimensions of the matrix you are creating. By default, the dimensions of the matrix are set to the dimensions of the first matrix, and you can change them later by selecting the corresponding map fragment.

The task "Map Editor" has been improved. In Object Stitching mode, the stitching quality of area objects is optimized by adding pre-alignment of contours before object stitching. In Cut from Polygon mode, you can also select the shape of the object to save. When you cut the original polygon into two or more parts, the result is saved as a single multipolygon, and the outer parts of the object are written to a single object. The Generate Multipolygon option is added to the context menu of the mode, when disabled, the external parts of the cut object are saved to separate area objects. The Create Combined Sign mode has been added to the Align Selected Objects toolbar. A combination sign is a set of vector objects that are selected from the map classifier, have a common anchor point, and are placed vertically. Once mapped, the combined sign can be edited as a single object.

GIS Panorama

The task "Export to the Mbtiles pyramid" has been finalized. In addition to support for jpeg, png and png8 formats, the option to save tiles to webp format has been added. The webp format supports a loss-of-quality compression algorithm without loss of quality. A compressed image on average takes up 30% less space than png. The webp format supports transparency, like png, and can contain metadata for an image.
