The Moscow group of companies "Moskabelmet" has developed charging stations for electric vehicles, made entirely from domestic components. The product is intended for urban and industrial use. This was announced on November 23, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky.

This development of the company is designed to charge the battery of electric vehicles at city or industrial facilities, as well as at home. One of the advantages of the device is compactness, it weighs 15 kilograms, it can be placed on a wall or other vertical surface. In addition, due to its moisture and dust protection properties, the station can be used in all climatic zones of the country. Also, a mobile application is being developed to pay for the consumed electric energy. The device is completely made of domestic components, some of which are produced at the enterprises of the Moskabelmet group of companies, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The software part of the charging station was developed at MosITLab, the charging cable was developed at the Moskabel Plant, the design of the station body was printed on a 3D printer located on the territory of Moskabelmet, the remaining components were also produced at localized enterprises in Russia.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin said that the problems due to the departure of import companies in Moscow have already been resolved in almost all areas of the economy - for components, suppliers, substitutions, import substitution.

Despite the high reliability of the cable, the charging station provides for automatic disconnection of the charged device from the network not only after the end of the charge, but also in case of damage to the cable, connection breaks or leakage.
