Start of deliveries of the systems of temperature measurement to schools of Russia and USA

On September 8, 2020 it became known that Promobot began deliveries of systems for temperature measurement of a body of Promobot Thermocontrol in the Russian and American schools. The development director of the company Oleg Kivokurtsev told about it.

We see, how sharply there is a problem of fast and safe temperature measurement on inputs in schools. Therefore we propose the solution which helps to get rid of half-hour queues — the Promobot Thermocontrol terminal. Now our stations are set at schools in Moscow, Perm, Surgut and Angarsk — he reported RIA Novosti.

According to Kivokurtsev, the equipment is tested at ten schools, and until the end of the year Promobot is going to deliver products more than in 150 schools in Moscow, Moscow area, Perm Krai, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Tyumen region and other regions.

Besides, Promobot Thermocontrol are delivered in the American schools — about 60 terminals work in educational institutions in Philadelphia, New York, Virginia and Maryland. In 2020 in states it is going to deliver in total not less than 200 stations for schools, Oleg Kivokurtsev told.

Promobot Thermocontrol represents the device with the video camera, the distance thermometer and the touch screen. It works independently, without the aid of the person. According to developers, the device takes temperature approximately in 5 seconds about the accuracy of 0.2 degrees.

In addition to schools, these systems are actively delivered in hospitals. By September 8, 2020 in Perm Krai supervising departments understand legality of purchase execution at the only supplier of 17 terminals for temperature measurement for the medical institutions converted for treatment of patients with COVID-19. The price of this contract was nearly 3.7 million rubles.^[1]

Delivery plans in the UAE of two hundred terminals

The Promobot company, the resident of Skolkovo Foundation, signed the delivery contract to the United Arab Emirates of two hundred terminals for contactless temperature measurement of Promobot Thermocontrol. According to the agreement with Robotic Generation Electronic company, devices will be delivered till April, 2021. The Skolkovo Foundation reported about it on July 9, 2020.

The first 10 terminals will go to Dubai in July. Also Robotic Generation Electronic will present products of "Promobot" at the markets of the Arab countries — in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.

We already receive applications for implementations of Termokontrol terminals from our partners in other Arab countries. Devices in many respects advance competitive solutions — higher accuracy, high speed of measurement, abilities to integrate. Preliminary market research shows that such stations at us will be demanded.

Independent Promobot Thermocontrol terminals take temperature in only 5 seconds at distance to 25 cm. Measuring accuracy is 0.2 degrees. Average capacity of terminals — more than 500 people per hour. The station consists of the contactless thermometer installed on the mobile module, cameras for determination of persons, the display and the loudspeaker for informing on results of measurement.

The Promobot Thermocontrol stations are delivered to Germany and Greece. It is planned that in a year to Europe there will arrive about 100 devices for the total amount of half a million euros. 400 terminals under the agreement with the American Wenger Medical will go to East Coast of the USA for installation in medical institutions. Terminals are also used in Russia — on production of mineral fertilizers of UralChem company, in Novatek scientific center in Tyumen, etc.

We see potential at those our residents who even during crisis continue to conclude bargains with foreign partners and supports the export direction. The Promobot company could not only adapt to current situation in time, but also continued to deliver the products to Europe, the USA and to the Middle East. It says about a maturity of the company, its readiness to resist to the most difficult calls of the market.

At the end of March, 2020 the Russian producer of Promobot robots  showed the Thermocontrol terminals helping with prevention of a coronavirus of COVID-19. The equipment takes temperature of the person to within 0.2 degrees.

Devices work without operator, save data on measurements and warn a security service about visitors with the increased temperature. The measurement takes place within 5 seconds. On all process one person needs from 10 to 25 seconds.

In the basic version of Thermocontrol on the screen notifications and results of temperature measurement appear. In the advanced version the system of face recognition works — it can be integrated with security systems of the enterprise. Thus the terminal can limit further access to the building of the person with the increased temperature.

Terminals for prevention of a coronavirus bought several large Russian companies, including producer of natural gas in Russia Novatek.  Terminals will be installed on an input in scientific and technological center of the enterprise in Tyumen.

Solutions can be also applied  at the airports, trade and business centers,  at schools and  hospitals, at stations, in hotels and other places of the increased accumulation of people.^[2]

Now most often temperature is taken by people. It slowly and not safely — is risk of spread of a virus among employees. Our development will help to organize fast temperature measurement, not to risk health of employees and to save quality of service  — the development director of Promobot company  Oleg Kivokurtsev says. —  Temperature measurement terminals in places of the increased accumulation of people can become the new standard of security — on an equal basis with metal detectors and surveillance cameras.

Promobot  also submitted the special version of the robot diagnostician equipped with the same  distance thermometer. The robot is capable to conduct survey on  existence of primary symptoms of COVID-19  and  to take temperature, it  can also be integrated into  security systems.
