On September 24, 2019, Xiaomi introduced the world's first smartphone with a display wrapped around. The cost of this model, called Mi  Mix Alpha, turned out to be sky-high.

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the screen diagonal in Mi  Mix Alpha is 7.92 inches. This appears to be the size of the entire display , taking into account its areas located on the  side  and rear surfaces. The screen is made according to OLED technology and has  a resolution of 2088  x  2250  pixels. Whether the display can be partially turned on is not specified

It is stated that the ratio of the total screen area  to the front surface area is 180.6%. The front surface of the smartphone and side faces are closed almost completely by the matrix - with the exception of thin frames from above and from below, an aircraft titanium surface was used there.

On February 25, 2019, it became known that Xiaomi introduced a version of the Mi Mix 3 smartphone with support for the fifth generation (5G) network and demonstrated its work in collaboration with the cellular operator Orange.

According to other characteristics, the phone is not much different from its predecessors. On it is a USB connector for charging, on the right side - the main speaker, on the other - spoken. The volume control buttons moved to the right side face, and the SIM card slot will be on the left.

The smartphone has become even thinner and lighter, which undoubtedly gives attractiveness. A rectangular shape with rounded corners pleasantly pleases the eye, and also lays conveniently in the hand. At the moment, two color solutions are exactly known - black and white.

But there is good news for consumers, 855 improvements are expected soon. Despite these facts, the download speed is pleasantly surprising and pleasing much more than previous models. It is able to download any games, applications, instant messengers and play music without interruptions. The only reason why speed may suddenly lose is the overheating of the system, which, unfortunately, all modern smartphones suffer.

The AnTuTu Benchmark program praises performance by awarding the gadget 110 thousand points and pushing it to winning positions in the ranking of the best phones. As for RAM and embedded memory, four different variations are expected - 6-64, 6-128, 8-128 and 8-256 gigabytes.

Standalone operation

The device with a glass case is equipped with a battery of 3500 mAh, which will ensure its functioning for a day at any load. But the ceramic device will receive a more powerful battery of 4000 mAh, so you can use the phone without the need to charge for one and a half days.

Based on all the above, we can confidently conclude that the smartphone has many more advantages than disadvantages:
