2022: Switching to Leonardo booking information system
Pobeda Airlines has switched to the Leonardo automated booking information system. The implementation was organized with the participation of the RT-Design Technologies holding of Rostec State Corporation in partnership with Sirena-Travel and RT-Transk. Rostec announced this to TAdviser on June 1, 2022. The service will protect the company and passengers from possible incidents and failures when disconnecting foreign booking systems.
"Leonardo" was created in two versions. The first is for the smooth transition of the airline to updated software. The second is for emergency connection in 24 hours, if foreign systems stop working. At the same time, all services for the sale, e-commerce, service and registration at airports will be available to passengers in an uninterrupted mode.
Preparatory work on the transition of Pobeda to the Russian system began in February 2022 after reports of a possible disconnection of air carriers from the foreign Navitaire system.
The system adapts for each airline to suit individual requirements. As a result, carriers receive a competitive Russian service with an increased level of information protection. The solution will allow you to preserve critical information and passenger data, as well as avoid failures caused by the possible shutdown of foreign systems. Pobeda Airlines switched to our system, as of June 2022, the configuration of individual services continues, but all functions are already available for passengers, - said Alexander Nazarov, Deputy General Director of Rostec. |
The domestic booking system has already been introduced in more than 50 airlines with a traffic volume of over 40 million passengers per year, including Red Wings, Aurora, Rusline, Yamal, UTair, Alrosa Airlines JSC.
