2025: Launch of Service Project to Improve Onconference

In March 2025, the press service of TechLAB announced that the Chelyabinsk Region is expanding its capabilities for early diagnosis of oncology: Magnitogorsk began to use an artificial intelligence service from TechLAB in the medical unit (ANO TsMSCH). A pilot project to work with a service to increase onconference was launched on March 14, 2025.

According to the company, in recent years, the rate of oncological morbidity in the Chelyabinsk region has remained quite high. Thus, more than 19,000 cases are detected annually, which is higher than the average Russian values, although it is explained, among other things, by the effectiveness of preventive techniques and medical examination, which account for more than 60% of the detected cases. However, despite the fact that it is extremely difficult to prevent the appearance of oncology, it is possible to diagnose it at an early stage. This significantly increases the effectiveness of further therapy: the earlier the diagnosis and start of treatment, the more favorable the patient's prognosis will be.

This is the first such initiative in the Chelyabinsk region, implemented jointly with St. Petersburg IT the TechLAB company, which develops services. digital healthcare To increase the competitiveness of doctors and patients, a service Galenos.AI created by TechLAB is used.

We have developed the Galenos.AI service based on artificial intelligence, which helps analyze alarming symptoms and identify oncology at an early stage. Now in the Magnitogorsk medical unit, where it is implemented, all patients can undergo express diagnostics right in their smartphone - this will take only 3-4 minutes. So it will be possible to suspect a malignant neoplasm in time and undergo additional diagnostics as prescribed by a doctor.

We see that the number of cases of cancer is increasing, but this is largely due to the active prevention and medical examination in Magnitogorsk. And this is the right approach: the more wary the doctor and the patient himself, the more attentive he is to his health, the higher the chances of not missing alarming symptoms and making a diagnosis and starting treatment in time. In the medical unit, we apply all available measures for early diagnosis of cancer, and the service from TechLAB with artificial intelligence has expanded our capabilities. Now our patients can use it to easily and quickly analyze their complaints to exclude oncology.

The Galenos.AI service can be used in different scenarios. According to one of them, which is used in Magnitogorsk, it is enough for the patient to scan the QR code and fill out an electronic questionnaire, and then consult his attending physician, who will familiarize himself with the recommendations of the service and, if necessary, send the patient for additional diagnostics. You can fill out such a questionnaire at any time - even while waiting for admission in the queue in front of the office.

The service is based on current clinical recommendations and algorithms for detecting malignant neoplasms, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, on which artificial intelligence relies when analyzing patient complaints.

Artificial intelligence at the heart of the service, which is used in the medical unit, assesses a variety of symptoms - more than 80 positions, including weight loss, fatigue, fever, night sweats, a coma in the throat and much more. In the future, we have the opportunity to focus the work of the service on those types of cancer that are more typical for the climate and environmental situation of a particular region, as, for example, in the Chelyabinsk region, where lung cancer occupies high positions in the structure of oncological morbidity.
