2021: GetFaster: How automation helped organize delivery of orders in 30 minutes

The story begins with a dream

Imagine you live in Düsseldorf, one of the most dynamic cities in Germany. You are suddenly visited by friends and told that in 40 minutes they will already be at your dinner. There is no panic - you just open the GetFaster application, order everything you need, and after half an hour the courier is at your door with food, drinks and even medicines.

Behind this simplicity - for customers - lies a complex system that makes such miracles possible. The story of GetFaster is the story of how automation turned chaos into order and the dream into reality.

A problem that is familiar to many

GetFaster is not just a delivery service, it is a salvation for those who value their time. However, behind the scenes of this convenience, serious challenges were hidden. The company's management was faced with the need to quickly collect and deliver orders within 30 minutes. And without a clear accounting and automation system, this was impossible to implement.

GetFaster darkstore employees worked with paper lists from "1C: Trade Management 11.4." It was inconvenient, long and accompanied by mistakes. And the company's management understood that it was necessary to change this system so as not to lose customer loyalty and, accordingly, profit.

Hope for modern technologies and a solution that inspires confidence

GetFaster management understood that automation was indispensable. Previously, the company had no experience in introducing such systems - the project was launched from scratch.

GetFaster management independently began to analyze the market for the proposed Auto-ID solutions and, on the recommendation of the Russian developer Kleverens, turned to the VIANT company for help with the introduction of a hardware and software complex. Integrators have already had experience in implementing sophisticated systems to automate warehouses.

I got a call from a GetFaster executive. He said that they are opening darkstor in Germany. They had an understanding of how such a business should work, and a desire for outsourcers to complete the entire pool of tasks "turnkey." Of course, we agreed to lead this project,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.

For the start, attention... Implemented!

The automation process began with a pre-project survey. Specialists "VIANT" and "Kleverens" developed a plan that included:

  • Implementation of the 1C: UT 11.4 accounting system.
  • Setting up data exchange with the site on Bitrix.
  • Translation of the system into English using BIT: English Language Pack.
  • Installation of "Warehouse 15" on mobile devices.

We put into operation the accounting system "1C: UT 11.4" and installed the mobile application for shipping documentation "Warehouse 15" on budget mobile phones Samsung A12/A20 Xiaomi Redmi and 9A, to which we connected - Bluetoothscanner on the finger from NetumScan,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.

How does the system work?

Now in two GetFaster warehouses, about 20 mobile devices are used to read barcodes. The process of receipt of goods is typical: at the time of acceptance of products from different suppliers, which is carried out by scanning the ShK, a document of receipt of goods and services is created.

When a customer orders products from an app or website, they see the price and balance. Then he dials his shopping cart and confirms the order. The exchange order arrives in 1C, and a QR code is automatically generated for it, which appears in the warehouse, on the storekeeper's monitor, along with the order number.

The storekeeper "picks" the QR code and identifies the order, thus securing it. This is a typical mechanism for the "Kleverens" software - selecting a document by scanning a barcode,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.

To simplify the process of selecting an order, the integrators completed the revision in Warehouse 15: in 1C, a picture was attached to each item, which can be opened in the order document by clicking on the line with the name. All images are uploaded from 1C online.

Order, speed and economy

Thanks to automation, GetFaster has achieved impressive results:

  • Collection and delivery of orders now take only 30 minutes.
  • Accounting and shipping errors are minimized.
  • Customers see current balances and prices in real time.

We didn't just automate processes - we created a system that works like a clock,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.

New Opportunities and Growth Readiness

GetFaster regularly introduces various new features. For example, she recently mastered the accounting of empty containers, which is actively practiced in Germany to return part of the tax.

A small but very significant refinement can be considered the pricing mechanism, which allows you to reflect on the site old (permanent) and new (shareholder) prices, which are automatically recalculated as soon as the validity time of the share ends,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.

A Successful Experience Worth Sharing

GetFaster recommends Kleverens solutions and cooperation with VIANT integrators to other companies that want to automate their processes.

If you want to clean up and improve efficiency, Kleverens and VIANT are what you need. We can implement any business requests in data accounting automation. GetFaster management has seen this firsthand,
Andrey Galaktionov, General Director of VIANT.
