The company "Promrukav" has replicated Axelot WMS X5 to the warehouse of raw materials and materials. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on February 3, 2023.

The tasks are to increase the efficiency of the warehouse, reduce the influence of the human factor and increase the accuracy of warehouse residue control.

The area of ​ ​ the warehouse of raw materials and materials is only 2,500 square meters, the assortment is 2,000 product items.

Since AXELOT WMS X5 is already used in the company's neighboring warehouse, automation was performed using additional system setup. The project team made all the necessary settings immediately before the start of industrial operation.

As a result, the business processes in the raw materials warehouse of Promrukav are now managed using AXELOT WMS X5. The staff was trained, and after a successful test run, a warehouse of raw materials and materials was added to the already automated warehouse of finished products. During the AXELOT project, the WMS X5 was integrated with the CIS. The integration loop is configured with DATAREON ESB.

Now the operations in the warehouse have become more transparent and are tracked in the system - if earlier it was available only for the warehouse of finished products, now the management of Promrukav has all the necessary information about the movement of raw materials and materials from the moment of their receipt until shipment to production.

2022: Introduction of Warehouse Management System

The introduction of WMS took place at a warehouse in the Vladimir region. The area of ​ ​ the object is 2562 square meters. m. Plus a dedicated street area. The warehouse stores cable-carrying systems, corrugations and various components, both in-house production and purchased from third-party suppliers.

Thanks to the implementation Axelot WMS X5 , the processes of receipt, shipment, placement were established. goods It was possible to optimize the storage and execution of warehouse operations in the area of ​ ​ packed racks. There is no need for an operator to monitor the goods receipt process from in-house production - now time there are practically no errors in the receipt and shipment, and the system fully controls the process. Optimization of routes reduced the mileage of warehouse equipment. The load on warehouse personnel has decreased, the need for "paper" has disappeared, it has become possible to plan the expected receipt.

Preparation for the launch of the warehouse was carried out in accordance with the methodology, including training and joint inventory, which made it possible to quickly and smoothly launch the WMS. So, for example, an inventory of cells in the street storage area was carried out, and warehouse personnel were trained in working with the system. In addition, during training and test operation, the acceptance process for all types of receipts was fully launched, which subsequently facilitated the launch of all remaining processes into commercial operation.
