The Rosseti Group of Companies is expanding the use of the Aurora Center platform for managing corporate mobile devices on the Aurora operating system and stationary workstations. This was announced on October 15, 2025 by the press service of Rosseti.
Rostelecom and Rosseti signed a memorandum on expanding the use of domestic software products. The purpose of the agreement is to reduce the dependence of the Russian fuel and energy complex on foreign software. The document was signed by Deputy President - Chairman of the Board of Rostelecom Dariy Khalitov and Deputy General Director for Digital Transformation of Rosseti Konstantin Kravchenko.
The agreement provides for an increase in the use of the Aurora Center platform in the Rosseti group. The system allows you to manage stationary workstations on the Alt operating system. The platform also provides control over corporate mobile devices based on the Aurora OS.
The agreements of the parties will contribute to the development of new solutions in the field of technological innovation. Companies plan to use the accumulated knowledge and practical results. Experience will allow you to more effectively solve the problems of replacing foreign IT products with Russian ones.
Darius Khalitov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of Rostelecom, commented on the significance of the partnership. According to him, cooperation with the Rosseti group expands opportunities to strengthen the technological sovereignty of key sectors of the economy and the country as a whole.
Darius Khalitov noted the impact on import substitution processes. In his opinion, interaction will contribute to the optimization of these processes. The development of the competencies of the involved specialists will make it possible to scale the best practices. Companies will be able to introduce advanced domestic IT products for the fuel and energy sector.
Konstantin Kravchenko, Deputy General Director for Digital Transformation of Rosseti, spoke about the restructuring of infrastructure. According to him, the company has almost completely rebuilt the IT infrastructure. All new digital products integrated in the Rosseti group have been created in Russia.[1]
