2020: Implementation of the Automated control system for means of small-scale mechanization based on SAP Cloud Platform

On December 8, 2020 VELESSTROY company reported that it developed and began implementation of the Automated control system for means of small-scale mechanization (SMM ACS) based on SAP Cloud Platform. A system will allow to exercise operational monitoring and control of use of the means of small-scale mechanization (MSSM) - grinders, screw drivers, perforators, chainsaws and many other tools - on building sites. The IT and To company became the partner of development and deployment of a system.

According to the company, the key purpose of implementation - optimization efficiency of use of means of small-scale mechanization to optimize costs and also to automate process of accounting of SMM. For achievement of these purposes VELESSTROY used a cloud system based on SAP Cloud Platform using technology of Internet of Things. She turns on a web and mobile applications in which employees will work at objects and also the interface of integration with the accounting systems of VELESSTROY. A system is clear and convenient for users. Mobile application can work without connection to the Internet that is relevant for building sites in the remote areas where there is no covering of a mobile network. After connection to the Internet the application automatically synchronizes data with a cloud system.

Thanks to solution development to SAP Cloud Platform the company passed from quantitative accounting of SMM to number. Unique number is assigned to each item of equipment. Identification of SMM happens on RFID to tags which are read out using mobile application.

A system already underwent trial operation on projects Omsk Refinery, Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery, the production site of "Grushovaya" and the transshipment Sheskharis complex to Novorossiysk. In the nearest future the ACS of SMM will be spread around also on other projects.
