2023: Softline invested $1m in Kickidler

In mid-May 2023, it became known about investing $1 million in Kickidler. Softline Venture Partners (SVP), a venture capital fund of the Russian company Softline, invested in the developer of solutions for time and employee performance control, which received 40% of the startup as a result of the transaction.

According to Forbes, citing a representative of SVP, the funds received will help Kickidler expand its product line and increase sales. In particular, for the attracted investments, the startup is going to launch a new product - project monitoring. He will work as tusk managers of Jira, Vision and others. It will be possible to set tasks for projects and track their implementation, identify those responsible. At the same time, the program will show what the employee did while working and how much time he spent on tasks. The company also intends to open two foreign offices by the end of 2023 - in Turkey and Brazil.

According to Roman Solovyov, co-founder and CEO of Kickidler, the technology that the company is developing by May 2023 helps to increase the efficiency of teams and prevents corporate data leakage. The system is used by 3.9 thousand companies in 55 countries.

Since the end of 2022, Kickidler has planned to attract investment to scale the business, the magazine said. Roman Solovyov spoke with a number of investors, but stopped at SVP. He was attracted by the expertise of the fund in the market of solutions for employees. Before the deal, the fund invested in the Stakhanovets employee control system, a platform for training in IT systems HintEd, the developer of the program for monitoring online tests ProctorEdu, etc., the publication adds. The SVP team, in turn, decided to invest in the project in connection with the trend for flexible operating modes, said the head of the fund Elena Volotovskaya.^[1]
