Automation of connection of shops to SBP

On August 14, 2020 Tinkoff announced start of a possibility of automatic connection of shops and outlets to the System of Fast Payments (SFP) through a personal account. It will allow SP and the companies, having connected in couple of clicks to SBP, to accept instant payments from buyers by the QR code.

Clients at whom the checking account and internet-acquiring in Tinkoff Oplata service is already opened for connection to SBP do not need to sign any additional documents — to include the option "Payment through SBP" in a personal account enough. New clients for connection to SBP need to open only the checking account in Tinkoff, to create shop in a personal account and to include this function.

Advantages of connection of business to SBP:

  • Low commission: if you pay with the QR code through SBP it makes no more than 0.7%;
  • Instant transfer of money for the account, even on holidays and days off;
  • Instant and free return of funds for the account to the buyer;
  • It is not necessary to install the terminal.

Payments by the QR code are convenient, first of all, to online stores and services. The buyer does not need to enter these cards — to him to scan the smartphone enough the QR code which will start the Tinkoff application (or other bank supporting payment through SBP). Payment will take place in several clicks (the amount and purpose of payment will be in advance filled).

The shop can select any option of use of the QR code for payment acceptance. The simplest — payment using the Tinkoff Oplaty form which when scanning the QR code phone from the screen of the computer or the tablet, automatically sends the buyer to the application of bank where it needs only to confirm transaction. It suits large retailers, insurance, broker and other companies, it is important to them to use own interfaces, to quickly process a large number of transactions and to automate return function.

If the buyer requests return, the seller can issue easily it in several clicks in a personal account. It is only necessary to enter the amount and to select payee bank of payment. In case of use of more difficult integration, this function is automated.

Simplification of connection of the Apple Pay and Google Pay for clients of Internet acquiring

On July 17, 2020 Tinkoff Bank reported that the acquiring service Tinkoff Oplata simplified connection of payment services of the Apple Pay and Google Pay to payment forms on the websites of online stores. Now clients of Internet acquiring will be able to connect services to the e-commerce to platforms in several clicks — Tinkoff automated process which required direct integration into the Apple Pay and Google Pay earlier.

On March 31, 2020 Tinkoff announced expansion of an opportunity for the clients within the System of fast payments: now they can perform return of money for purchase which payment was made through the QR code in retail and the online stores connected to SBP.
