Navicon Sales Force Efficiency (SFE) BI is the solution for complex control and the analysis of activity of field employees (flexible management by the purposes and KPI, visiting activity, determination of quality of a categorization of outlets).

Constructed on a stack of technologies Microsoft, a system provides collecting, storage and deep data analysis from the different systems. Within the implementing solution SFE BI clients of Navicon can use data from ERP CRM, CLM and other accounting systems. For May, 2020 the solution can be placed both on services Microsoft Azure, and on local servers the customer.[1]

Release of the solution Navicon SFE BI

On July 23, 2020 the Navicon company presented the analytical solution. Navicon SFE BI is the end-to-end system allowing pharmaceutical and the FMCG companies to manage the purposes and KPI of the field specialists and to analyze their visiting activity. In addition, the companies will be able to control accomplishment of contractual terms by retail and pharmacy chains and to find possible anomalies in the data arriving from partners. The solution can be placed both in a cloud, and on local service of the company.

Navicon noted that about 30% of the budget which is taken away by pharmaceutical companies and FMCG manufacturing on the promotion leave on sales and medical representatives. Therefore it is necessary to control quickly their activity and to analyze visiting activity, at the same time to estimate both quantitative, and qualitative indexes. However process of the analysis sometimes is complicated by the fact that data for it are stored in different sources – it makes manual monitoring impracticable.

According to the developer, the presented solution includes the instruments of monitoring and the analysis intended for heads of field employees and also a possibility of obtaining the mobile analytical report for sales and medical representatives. Navicon Sales Force Efficiency (SFE) BI is constructed on a stack of analytical tools Microsoft: SQL Server SQL Server Analysis Services and Power BI. The solution can collect store and analyze data from any sources, for example CRM CLM ERP, databases on sales. Depending on requirements of SFE BI company it is possible to unroll both in a cloud environment Microsoft Azure, and on local server.

According to the statement of Navicon, using a system pharmaceutical and the FMCG companies can solve several problems at once:

  • control activity of field employees, to manage flexibly their purposes and KPI;
  • make work of sales and medical representatives of more productive, having provided them tools for independent control of the KPI;
  • measure quantitatively added value of actions of sales representatives;
  • manage the capacity of each outlet, define territories of the advancing development or, on the contrary, lagging behind;
  • define quality of a categorization of outlets and to react quickly to external changes;
  • control as retail or pharmacy chains satisfy contractual terms;
  • calculate compliance of outlets to the Perfect Store standards.

Availability of solutions of Navicon in Yandex. Cloud

On May 19, 2020 it became known that Navicon developer and Yandex company. A cloud signed the partnership agreement. Based on the Yandex platform. The cloud of Navicon will offer clients infrastructure and platform services for storage and data processing, technology for speech recognition and the analysis of images using machine learning and also own solutions for pharmaceutical and the FMCG industries.

Having become the certified partner of Yandex. Clouds, Navicon had an opportunity to offer clients the innovation services based on a cloud platform of vendor. In Yandex. A cloud four groups of services are available: Infrastructure is infrastructure services for storage and data processing, Data Storage & Analytics – for management of different databases and also for visualization and data analysis; Cloud Native – for start of the code in the form of function, exchange of messages between applications; ML & AI – tools for the analysis of images and speech recognition. Extensive examination of Navicon in many IT areas will allow the company to select for customers the most optimal combinations of services for fast and effective solution of their problems.

Also Navicon is going to provide a part of own developments through Yandex. A cloud according to the SaaS model. It opens opportunities for the companies which are interested in products of integrator and would like to receive them "as service", but owing to the different reasons are not ready to use DPCs of the western companies. All data centers of Yandex are located in the territory of the Russian Federation and correspond to Federal law No. 152-FZ "About personal data", to regulations of GDPR, ISO 27001 and also only in the country meet ISO standards 27017 and ISO 27018. Additional benefit is that costs for service for placement are lower, than during the work with foreign cloud platforms.
