OJSC UECHK is a key enterprise of the Novouralsky industrial cluster, the largest uranium enrichment enterprise in Russia and the world, supplied to meet the nuclear fuel needs of nuclear power plants and other nuclear power plants. Included in the separation and sublimate complex of the Fuel Company of Rosatom TVEL.

JSC "UECHK" is one of the most important links in the chain of the nuclear fuel cycle of Russia, occupying a technological position between uranium mining and the manufacture of fuel for nuclear reactors. UECHK JSC has 48% of Russian and 20% of the world's industrial uranium isotope separation capacities, which makes it possible to ensure the fulfillment of more than 80% of uranium enrichment export orders placed in Russia. The management system of JSC UECHK complies with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, OHSAS 18001.

The production uses the most efficient gas-centrifugal technology at the moment, which causes minimal damage to the environment.

  • The first production of the enterprise - enriched uranium - was obtained on November 11, 1949 by diffusion method.
  • Since 1962, UEC separation production has been using gas-centrifugal technology.
